Prior notice period definition

Prior notice period means the timeframe from the adverse benefit determiniation appeal resolution decision date or the notice mail date to the state hearing request receive date, which is ten calendar days for Medicaid, including managed care plans and "MyCare Ohio" plans, and fifteen days for all other programs.When a request for a state hearing is received by either the state or local agency within the fifteen day prior notice period, benefits shall not be reduced, suspended, or terminated until a state hearing decision is rendered unless one of the following occurs:
