Examples of Professional development points in a sentence
The Collaborative will reimburse all Professional Staff covered by the Agreement, who have been employed by the Collaborative for at least one year, up to a maximum of $1000.00 per school year for educational courses taken in an accredited college or university and/or courses, workshops and seminars which award Professional Development Points (PDPs) or Continuing Education Units (CEUs), pending available funds.
Any teacher qualifying for a higher Class must submit copies of transcripts or other documentation verifying successful completion of and credit for the college course or Professional Development Points by July 31 for an August adjustment.
Substitutes who participate in workshops and other professional development activities conducted by the School Department shall be eligible for Professional Development Points (PDP’s) and/or Continuing Education Units (CEU’s).
For each of those staff who are required to accumulate Professional Development Points (PDP's) to maintain a professional certification which is required by their job description, the Agency will allot up to $150.00 per year, non-cumulative, for their attendance at training events for which PDP's are awarded.

A teacher may utilize up to twenty-two (22) Professional Development Points (PDPs) which have been approved in advance by the building administrator to qualify for one (1) credit on the salary schedule for horizontal movement.
Upon completion of the approved activity District and Building Professional Development Points should be submitted by the building administrator, the building leadership team, a Leaders for Learning representative, or the individual to Leaders for Learning through the District’s integrated data tracking system.
Professional Development Points (PDP’s) or in-service credit, at the teacher’s discretion, will be granted for NEASC work and NAEYC work.
For each completed term as an elected member of a school council/c, employees covered by this Agreement will receive (3) Professional Development Points (PDP) to be applied to any required recertification.
