Professional Staff Member definition

Professional Staff Member means a Staff Member designated as such by the Board in the terms of the Staff Member’s appointment, and who is therefore subject to those sections of this Agreement that apply only to Professional Staff Members (P);
Professional Staff Member means a staff member who is one of the following:

Examples of Professional Staff Member in a sentence

  • Upon a resident vacating a unit, said unit shall be inspected by a Residence Life Professional Staff member and, if said unit is not in acceptable condition as defined herein and determined at the discretion the Residence Life Professional Staff Member, repair/cleaning/removal service shall be ordered and the resident(s) shall be held jointly and severally liable for the entire cost of the same.

  • Professional Staff Member- a unit member whose primary duties are other than teaching.

  • Part-time Professional Staff Member- a unit member employed for any part of the fiscal year including employees holding the job classifications listed in Article I- Appendix A whose primary duties are other than teaching and who are employed to work less than thirty-seven and one-half (37 1/2) hours a week.

  • When an incomplete has been made up, it is the responsibility of the Professional Staff Member to provide the grade to the Guidance Office.Incomplete as a rule though, should be awarded initially only when there is a legitimate reason for a delay in completing assigned work, as noted in paragraph one.

  • Based on market studies and in accordance with the level of the Staff Member, a standard housing allowance may be granted to Professional Staff Member who are not serving in their home country, provided that they and/or their spouse do not own residential property within the city the duty station is located in.


More Definitions of Professional Staff Member

Professional Staff Member means (i) a Professional Staff member as defined in the By-Law, or, for the purposes of these Rules only (ii) an original applicant for privileges under Article 12 of the By-Law, in either case who has requested a hearing under these Rules;
Professional Staff Member means a person who is employed by the University as a Professional Staff Member. Head means Head of Faculty or Office (unless there is a specific reference to Head of Department) or a person acting in that position pro tem.
Professional Staff Member means a staff member who occupies a position classified in accordance with the DWM descriptors and is paid in accordance with the salaries set out in Part B of Schedule 1. A professional staff member may also be referred to as “General Staff” in some University Reports.

Professional Staff Member means a physician or an allied health practitioner who is a member of the Saint Thomas Health medical staff, but who is not an associate or contractor.
Professional Staff Member when used hereinafter in the Agreement shall refer to all administrative and exempt employees represented by the Association in the negotiating unit as above defined.
Professional Staff Member means a person who has been employed by the University in one of the classifications described in Schedule 2 and who is not a member of the University’s Academic or English Language Teaching Staff.
