Profit Sharing Credit definition

Profit Sharing Credit means the amount contributed to the Participant's Account as a profit sharing credit pursuant to Section 3.3 hereof.
Profit Sharing Credit means an amount credited to a Participant’s Account under Section 5.3.
Profit Sharing Credit means, for a given calendar year, the amounts credited to a Participant’s Account under Section 5 of the Plan.

Examples of Profit Sharing Credit in a sentence

  • In the event of equal proposals and in the event that one offeror presents an acceptable Profit Sharing Credit plan, the offeror proposing the most generous plan, in terms of benefit to the Government will receive the award.

  • Under this option (3), each Employer Credit shall vest based on the Years of Service of a Participant from the Crediting Date on which each Employer Profit Sharing Credit is made to his or her Deferred Compensation Account.

  • The Employer may, but need not, cause the Committee to credit to the Deferred Compensation Account of any Active Participant an Employer Discretionary or Profit Sharing Credit as determined by the Employer.

  • The Administrator shall establish an Account, and appropriate sub-accounts, for each Participant who is entitled to receive a Profit Sharing Credit pursuant to Section 4.2 and Earnings Credits pursuant to Section 4.3.   • The engineers and technicians who have worked on the construction of the machine and the instruments will have an intimate understanding of it.

  • If any Profit Sharing contribution is reduced because a portion of the Participant’s Salary is excluded either because of nonqualified Salary deferrals or the limits imposed by Sections 415 and 401(a)(17) of the Code, the amount by which the contribution was reduced will be credited to a notional Executive Profit Sharing Credit account under the Plan as of the date of the Profit Sharing contribution.

  • If a Member’s Account is credited with a Profit Sharing Credit or Discretionary Credit after the Member’s Separation from Service and the Credit is made after the Member’s entire Account balance has been distributed, the amount of such Profit Sharing Credit or Discretionary Credit shall be distributed to the Member in a lump sum as soon as practicable after it is credited to the Account (and in no event later than the end of the calendar year in which it is credited to the Account).

  • However, if such Profit Sharing Credit or Discretionary Credit is made after the Member’s Separation from Service but before the Member’s entire Account balance has been distributed, the Payment Option elected (or deemed elected) by the Member shall apply to the Account balance including the Profit Sharing Credit or or Discretionary Credit made after the Member’s Separation from Service.

Related to Profit Sharing Credit

  • Profit Sharing Account means any one of the accounts so designated and provided for in Section 6.01.

  • Profit Sharing Plan means a profit-sharing plan that is qualified pursuant to 26 U.S.C. § 401 of the Internal Revenue Code and subject to the Employee Retirement Income Security Act, and which provides for employer contributions in the form of cash, but not in the form of stock or other equity interests in a Medical Marijuana Business.

  • Employer Matching Contributions means the Employer matching contributions made to the Trust Fund pursuant to Article V (Employer Matching Contributions).

  • Matching Contribution means an Employer contribution made to this or any other defined contribution plan on behalf of a Participant on account of a Participant's Deferral Contribution.

  • Company Matching Contributions means any contributions made to the Company Matching Account of a Participant by a Participating Employer as provided for in Section 4.02.

  • Elective Contributions are amounts excludible from the Employee's gross income under Code Sections 125, 402(a)(8), 402(h) or 403(b), and contributed by the Employer, at the Employee's election, to a Code Section 401(k) arrangement, a Simplified Employee Pension, cafeteria plan or tax-sheltered annuity. The term "Compensation" does not include:

  • Employer Contribution means the amount paid by an employer, as determined by the employer rate, including the normal and deficiency rates, contributions, and funds wherever used in this chapter.

  • Matching Contribution Account means the separate, individual account established on behalf of a Participant to which the Matching Contributions made on such Participant's behalf are credited, together with all earnings and appreciation thereon, and against which are charged any withdrawals, loans and other distributions made from such account and any losses, depreciation or expenses allocable to amounts credited to such account.

  • Employer Contributions means the amount transferred by an employer to a funding account or a health reimbursement account.

  • Deferred Compensation Account means the account maintained with respect to each Participant under the Plan. The Deferred Compensation Account shall be credited with Participant Deferral Credits and Employer Credits, credited or debited for deemed investment gains or losses, and adjusted for payments in accordance with the rules and elections in effect under Section 8. The Deferred Compensation Account of a Participant shall include any In-Service or Education Account of the Participant, if applicable.

  • Medical savings account means an account exempt from federal income taxation pursuant to Section 220 of the United States Internal Revenue Code (26 U.S.C. § 220).

  • Matching Contributions means local cash and/or in-kind contributions made by the Subrecipient, subcontractor, or other local resources that qualify as match for the Contract funding.

  • Company Matching Account means (i) the sum of all of a Participant's Annual Company Matching Amounts, plus (ii) amounts credited in accordance with all the applicable crediting provisions of this Plan that relate to the Participant's Company Matching Account, less (iii) all distributions made to the Participant or his or her Beneficiary pursuant to this Plan that relate to the Participant's Company Matching Account.

  • Elective Contribution means the Employer's contributions to the Plan of Deferred Compensation excluding any such amounts distributed as excess "annual additions" pursuant to Section 4.10(a). In addition, any Employer Qualified Non-Elective Contribution made pursuant to Section 4.6 shall be considered an Elective Contribution for purposes of the Plan. Any such contributions deemed to be Elective Contributions shall be subject to the requirements of Sections 4.2(b) and 4.2(c) and shall further be required to satisfy the discrimination requirements of Regulation 1.401(k)-1(b)(5), the provisions of which are specifically incorporated herein by reference.

  • pension means a pension or annual allowance paid under the Public Service Superannuation Act (PSSA), R.S., 1985, c. P-36, and any increases paid pursuant to the Supplementary Retirement Benefits Act, R.S., 1985, c. S-24 as it affects the PSSA. It does not include pensions payable pursuant to the Canadian Forces Superannuation Act, R.S., 1985, c. C-17, the Defence Services Pension Continuation Act, 1970, c. D-3, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Pension Continuation Act , 1970, c. R-10, and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Superannuation Act, R.S., 1985, c. R-11, the Members of Parliament Retiring Allowances Act, R.S. 1985, c. M-5, and that portion of pension payable to the Canada Pension Plan Act, R.S., 1985, c. C-8.

  • Employer Contribution Account means, for any Participant, the account established by the Administrator or Trustee to which Employer Contributions made under Section 3.5 for the Participant's benefit are credited.

  • Savings Plan or "plans" means a plan that provides different investment strategies and allows account distributions for qualified higher education expenses.

  • Multiple employer welfare arrangement means a multiple employer welfare arrangement

  • Matching Account means the account maintained on the books of the Employer for the purpose of accounting for the Matching Amount and for the amount of investment return credited thereto for each Participant pursuant to Article V.

  • Elective Deferral Account means the account established hereunder to which Elective Deferrals (including a separate accounting for Catch-Up Contributions) are allocated. Amounts in the Participant's Elective Deferral Account are nonforfeitable when made and are subject to the distribution restrictions of Section 12.2(e). The Elective Deferral Account may consist of the

  • Employer Account The Participant's Matching 401(k) Contributions Account, Matching Thrift Contributions Account, Employer Contributions Account, Qualified Matching Contributions Account and Qualified Nonelective Contributions Account, as the case may be.

  • Qualified Matching Contributions means Matching Contributions which are immediately nonforfeitable when made, and which would be nonforfeitable, regardless of the age or service of the Employee or whether the Employee is employed on a certain date, and which may not be distributed, except upon one of the events described under Section 401(k)(2)(B) of the Code and the regulations thereunder.

  • ESOP Account means a Participant’s account to which are credited Matching Contributions made to the Plan after March 31, 1989, and earnings and losses thereon.

  • Deferred Compensation Plan means any plan, agreement or arrangement maintained by the Company from time to time that provides opportunities for deferral of compensation.

  • Thrift Plan means the Financial Institutions Thrift Plan, a qualified and tax-exempt defined contribution plan and trust under Sections 401(a) and 501(a) of the Code, as adopted by the Bank.

  • Other Income Benefits means any benefits listed in the Other Income Benefits provision that you receive on your own behalf or for your dependents, or which your dependents receive because of your entitlement to Other Income Benefits.
