At present, the ESSA consultation process is embedded in the Program consultation process.
In the ESG Program, consultation with the Continuums of Care takes place on a regular basis.
These include the Training Provider Advisory Committee (public and private colleges and contracted trainers); Strategic Alliance (broad social policy issues related to lower income Albertans); Aboriginal Best Practice Table, French Language Program consultation, and the Federal/Provincial/Territorial ESL Discussion Group (shares resources and information on ESL/Literacy initiatives).
