Public Records Laws definition

Public Records Laws means the state laws and regulations applicable to the Client as a government agency that governs the rights of members of the public to obtain documents and other records from the Client.

Public Records Laws means any law, regulation, or official policy relating to an Entity’s obligation to maintain, preserve, and/or disclose Content, documentation, or other records maintained by (or on behalf of) a Public Sector End Customer (including, but not limited to, “Freedom of Information,” “Public Records,” “Open Records,” or “Archives” laws, or other similar requirements at any level of government).

  • Vendor agrees to assist Citizens in responding to any PRR in a prompt and timely manner as required by Florida’s Public Records Laws.

  • Vendor also agrees to reimburse Citizens for any attorneys’ fees, costs, and expenses incurred by Citizens or awarded against Citizens in any legal proceeding in which the issue is a third party’s challenge to Vendor’s assertion of an exemption under Florida’s Public Records Laws.

  • Vendor will hold Citizens harmless from any actions resulting from Vendor’s non- compliance with Florida’s Public Records Laws.

  • The City considers all information, documentation and other materials requested to be submitted in response to this solicitation to be a non‐ confidential and/or non‐proprietary nature and therefore subject to public disclosure under the Ohio Public Records Laws except as specifically exempted by those laws.

  • Failure to meet any of these provisions or to comply with Florida’s Public Records Laws as applicable shall be a material breach of this Agreement and shall be enforced in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Agreement.

  • This Agreement shall be subject to Florida’s Public Records Laws, Chapter 119, Florida Statutes.

  • Public records means all writings and recordings that consist of letters, words or numbers, or their equivalent, set down by handwriting, typewriting, printing, photostatting, photography, magnetic impulse, optical or magneto-optical form, mechanical or electronic recording or other form of data compilation, however stored, and regardless of physical form or characteristics, prepared or owned by, or in the possession of a public body or its officers, employees or agents in the transaction of public business.

  • Criminal records data means information about an individual's criminal convictions and offences, and information relating to criminal allegations and proceedings.

  • Public record or "public records" shall mean all documents, papers, letters, maps, books, photographs, films, sound recordings, magnetic or other tapes, electronic data-processing records, artifacts, or other documentary material, regardless of physical form or characteristics, made or received pursuant to law or ordinance in connection with the transaction of public business by any agency of North Carolina government or its subdivisions. Agency of North Carolina government or its subdivisions shall mean and include every public office, public officer or official (State or local, elected or appointed), institution, board, commission, bureau, council, department, authority or other unit of government of the State or of any county, unit, special district or other political subdivision of government.

  • Central KYC Records Registry (CKYCR) means an entity defined under Rule 2(1) of the Rules, to receive, store, safeguard and retrieve the KYC records in digital form of a customer.

  • Non-Public Personal Information about a Shareholder shall mean (i) personally identifiable financial information; (ii) any list, description, or other grouping of consumers that is derived from using any personally identifiable information that is not publicly available; and (iii) any other information that the Transfer Agent is prohibited from using or disclosing pursuant to Regulation S-P under Section 504 of the Gramm Xxxxx Xxxxxx Act.

  • Data Protection Laws and Regulations means all laws and regulations, including laws and regulations of the European Union, the European Economic Area and their member states, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, applicable to the Processing of Personal Data under the Agreement.

  • Privacy Act means the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

  • EU Data Protection Laws means EU Directive 95/46/EC, as transposed into domestic legislation of each Member State and as amended, replaced or superseded from time to time, including by the GDPR and laws implementing or supplementing the GDPR;

  • Environmental Information Regulations means the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 and any guidance and/or codes of practice issued by the Information Commissioner or relevant government department in relation to such regulations.

  • Nonpublic Personal Information means nonpublic personal financial information and nonpublic personal health information.

  • Applicable Data Protection Laws means all national, international and local laws, regulations and rules by any government, agency or authority relating to data protection and privacy which are applicable to CPA Global or the Customer, including but not limited to The General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679), (GDPR);

  • System of records on individuals, as used in this clause, means a group of any records under the control of any agency from which information is retrieved by the name of the individual or by some identifying number, symbol, or other identifying particular assigned to the individual.

  • Information Acts means the Data Protection Legislation, FOIA and the EIR, as amended from time to time;

  • Bye-laws means the bye-laws of the Company, as amended from time to time.

  • Data Protection Laws means all laws and regulations that govern the access, use, disclosure, or protection of Personal Data to which a party is subject with respect to the Service or the Software.

  • Public Reports includes all reports filed by Company under the Act or the Exchange Act, including pursuant to Section 13(a) or 15(d) thereof, for the two full fiscal years preceding the Effective Date and thereafter.

  • confidential records means those portions of correspondence, memoranda, files, manuals, books, lists, financial, operating or marketing records, magnetic tape, or electronic or other media or equipment of any kind in Executive’s possession or under Executive’s control or accessible to Executive which contain any proprietary information. All confidential records shall be and remain the sole property of the Company during the Term and thereafter.

  • Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act means the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996, Pub. L. No. 104-191, 110 Stat. 1936, as amended.

  • UK Data Protection Laws means the Data Protection Xxx 0000 (incorporating the UK GDPR) and the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003, and the laws implementing or supplementing them;

  • Governmental Real Property Disclosure Requirements means any Requirement of Law of any Governmental Authority requiring notification of the buyer, lessee, mortgagee, assignee or other transferee of any Real Property, facility, establishment or business, or notification, registration or filing to or with any Governmental Authority, in connection with the sale, lease, mortgage, assignment or other transfer (including any transfer of control) of any Real Property, facility, establishment or business, of the actual or threatened presence or Release in or into the Environment, or the use, disposal or handling of Hazardous Material on, at, under or near the Real Property, facility, establishment or business to be sold, leased, mortgaged, assigned or transferred.

  • Information Disclosure Requirements means the requirements to disclose information under:

  • Privacy Statements means, collectively, any and all of the Company’s privacy statements and policies published on Company websites or products or otherwise made available by the Company regarding the collection, retention, use and distribution of the personal information of individuals, including, without limitation, from visitors or users of any Company websites or products (“Individuals”);

  • Public Information Act or “PIA” means Chapter 552 of the Texas Government Code.

  • Anonymous Data means Personal Data that has been processed in such a manner that it can no longer be attributed to an identified or identifiable natural person.

  • Promotion of Access to Information Act ’ means the Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2000 (Act No. 2 of 2000);

  • Applicable Data Protection Law means all data privacy or data protection laws or regulations globally that apply to the Processing of Personal Information under this Data Processing Agreement, which may include Applicable European Data Protection Law.
