Purpose of PLAN. The purpose of the PLAN is to encourage employees to develop a financial plan for their future by providing money, which would otherwise have been available at retirement, for investment during the course of their employment with the District. The PLAN will require participation by the employee coupled with a matching contribution from the District. The objective of the PLAN is to develop a retirement account for employees to provide resources to supplement retirement benefits and to provide funds for health care costs during retirement.
