Qualifying Unit definition

Qualifying Unit means a residential accommodation that constitutes a part of the Property and contains separate and complete living facilities that are occupied by, or designated to be occupied by, a Low- to Moderate-Income Household or an Extremely Low-Income Household in accordance with the Contract.
Qualifying Unit means a Unit occupied by or designated to be occupied by a Low- to Moderate-Income Household or an Extremely Low-Income Household in accordance with this Agreement.
Qualifying Unit means an eligible unit that is rented by a tenant whose annual household income does not exceed the current upper second quintile established by Statistics Canada or the terms set forth in funding programs utilized by the property owner and offered by higher levels of Government, whichever is the lower.

Examples of Qualifying Unit in a sentence

  • The determination of whether the Annual Income of a family or individual occupying or seeking to occupy a Qualifying Unit complies with the requirements for Extremely Low-Income Households or Low- to Moderate-Income Households shall be made by the applicable housing authority in the CDBG-DR Program area prior to admission of such family or individual to occupancy of a Qualifying Unit.

  • Qualifying Unit members will be compensated for only one level of expertise.

  • The determination of whether the Annual Income of a family or individual occupying or seeking to occupy a Qualifying Unit complies with the requirements for Extremely Low Income Households or Low- Moderate-Income Households shall be made by the applicable Housing Authority in the program area prior to admission of such family or individual to occupancy of a Qualifying Unit (or to designation of a Unit occupied by such family or individual as a Qualifying Unit).

  • If the Next Available Unit Rule is violated, the Rental Housing Unit will not continue to be treated as a Qualifying Unit.

  • If the Next Available Unit Rule is violated, the Next Available Unit will not continue to be treated as a Qualifying Unit.


More Definitions of Qualifying Unit

Qualifying Unit means an emission unit that during normal operating conditions produces a consistent pattern of emissions.
Qualifying Unit means a Unit designated as [floating][fixed] pursuant to 24 CFR §92.252(j) that (i) is rented to either a Low Income Family, a Very Low Income Family, or an Extremely Low Income Family, and (ii) is used in complying with the occupancy requirements of Section VI of this Contract.
