Queensland Act definition

Queensland Act means the former Coal and Oil Shale Mine Workers’ Superannuation Act 1989 (Qld).
Queensland Act means the Queensland Mental Health Xxx 0000, including any regulations and orders made under that Act (but for the purposes of this Agreement a reference to the Queensland Act does not, unless expressly provided, include a reference to the ACT Act on the basis that the ACT Act has been declared a corresponding law under the Queensland Act);
Queensland Act means the Queensland Industrial Relations Act 1999 insofar as Long Service Leave is concerned and no further.

  • This Act does not affect the operation of the Mutual Recognition (Queensland) Act 1992 or the Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition (Queensland) Act 2003.

  • The Company shall, in respect to an employee, contribute an amount equal to 6% (which shall be adjusted periodically in accordance with Government Legislation) of ordinary time earnings or if applicable, 6% (which shall be adjusted periodically in accordance with Government Legislation) of weekly payments made under the WorkCover Queensland Act 1996, to the Fund for the credit of such employee at such times and for such periods as the Company is required to do so pursuant to the relevant Trust Deed.

  • Foreign limited liability company means an unincorporated entity formed under the law of a jurisdiction other than this state and denominated by that law as a limited liability company.

  • Ireland means the Republic of Ireland.

  • Planning Act means the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13, as amended;

  • Indian organization means the governing body of any Indian tribe or entity established or recognized by the governing body of an Indian tribe for the purposes of 25 U.S.C., chapter 17.

  • Agricultural burning means open outdoor fires used in agricultural operations in the growing of crops or raising of fowl or animals, or open outdoor fires used in forest management, range improvement, or the improvement of land for wildlife and game habitat, or disease or pest prevention.

  • OHS Act means the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004;

  • Public Works Act means the Public Works Xxx 0000;

  • Labour Relations Act means the Labour Relations Act, 1995 (Act No. 66 of 1995);

  • Commercial sex act means any sex act on account of which anything of value is given to or received by any person.

  • Mining Act means the Mining Xxx 0000;

  • the Commonwealth Act means the legislation of the Commonwealth Parliament by which this agreement is authorized to be executed by or on behalf of the Commonwealth;

  • Family Law Act means the Family Law Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. F.3, as am. S.O. 2006, c. 1, s.5; 2006, c. 19, Sched. B, s. 9, Sched. C, s. 1(1), (2), (4);

  • Byelaws means those of a class which may be confirmed by the Welsh Ministers (but the provision which may be made includes provision to remove a requirement of confirmation).

  • University Community means all students and employees of the University, persons officially associated with the University, former students and alumni at the University, as well as invitees, visitors and guests.

  • Commonwealth Act means the Workplace Relations Act 1996 of the Commonwealth;

  • agricultural holding means a portion of land not less than 0.8 hectares in extent used solely or mainly for the purpose of agriculture, horticulture or for breeding or keeping domesticated animals, poultry or bees;
