Rate of improvement definition

Rate of improvement means the number of students who, for each subject, did not pass the mandatory statewide annual assessment by the end of grade 10 but passed the mandatory statewide annual assessment by the end of grade 12, divided by the number of graduates who did not pass the mandatory statewide annual assessment by the end of grade 10.
