Ratepayer definition

Ratepayer means a person who is liable to the municipality for the payment of (a) rates on property in the municipality; (b) any other tax, duty or levy imposed by the municipality; and/or (c) fees for services provided either by the municipality or in terms of a service delivery agreement.
Ratepayer means any owner of rateable property as well as any owner of a rateable property held under sectional title, situate within the area of jurisdiction of the Council;
Ratepayer means a person or entity that is liable in terms of the MPRA for the payment of rates on property levied.
