R&D WORK definition

R&D WORK means all Research and Development Activities (as defined in section 355 of the Tax Act).
R&D WORK means any work to identify and develop liquids (e.g., perfluorochemicals) or medical devices or systems for administration or control of Liquid Ventilation or Bronchoalveolar Lavage or recovery or re-use of liquids, to characterize and qualify the properties or parameters of a Product, to investigate methods to use a Product, or to modify or improve an existing Product.
R&D WORK means any work to identify and develop a Product, to characterize and qualify the properties or parameters of a Product, to investigate methods to use a Product, or to modify or improve an existing Product.

  • Subject to Article 4 and 6 below and for the purposes of this agreement and subsequent license arising from this agreement only - there will be no joint intellectual property created as a result of or used pursuant to undertaking the tasks and responsibilities set forth in the R&D WORK PLAN.

  • SCIENTIST: the individual designated by each party to direct its activities under the R&D WORK PLAN.

R&D WORK shall have the meaning set forth in Section 2.1.1. CERTAIN CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THIS DOCUMENT, MARKED BY BRACKETS, HAS BEEN OMITTED AND FILED SEPARATELY WITH THE SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION PURSUANT TO RULE 24b-2 OF THE SECURITIES EXCHANGE ACT OF 1934, AS AMENDED.
R&D WORK shall have the meaning set forth in Section 2.1.1.
R&D WORK means the research, development and other work performed or to be performed by a Party pursuant to Section 2. The R&D Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to: (a) the design, engineering, development, manufacture, assembly, production, inspection, testing and delivery of Prototypes pursuant to paragraphs 2.2.1 and 2.2.2 and the R&D Plan; (b) the preparation and assembly of Documentation pursuant to paragraph 2.3.1 and the R&D Plan; and (c) obtaining the approvals, permits, licenses, certificates, listings, registrations and other authorizations described in paragraph 2.4.

Related to R&D WORK

  • piece-work means any system by which earnings are calculated upon the quantity or output of work performed;

  • job work means any treatment or process undertaken by a person on goods belonging to another registered person and the expression “job worker” shall be construed accordingly;
