Work/ works definition

Work/ works means work / works to be executed in accordance with the contract.

Work/ works means all work or works defined in schedule of quantities, specifications and such other work or works as the contractor may be entrusted with for carrying out under this contract.

However, if the Contractor duly performs and completes the Contract in all respects and presents Completion Certificate from Engineer-in-charge, the SASB shall refund the Security Deposit to the Contractor after deduction of cost and expenses that the SASB may have incurred and other money including all losses and damages which the SASB is entitled to recover from the Contractor after Defect Liability Period. 3.6 In case of delay in the progress of work, the Engineer-in-charge shall issue to the Contractor a memo in writing pointing out the delay in progress and calling upon the Contractor to explain the causes for the delay within three days of receipt of the memo and seven days from issuance of memo whichever is earlier.
