Receiving Government definition

Receiving Government means the Signatory Government to which the offender is transferred.
Receiving Government means the local government requesting mutual aid from another local government.

  • The Receiving Government, upon being informed of any decision in this regard, will put such measures into effect.

  • That the Offender be a citizen or national of the Receiving Government.

  • The Receiving Government will utilize the incident command system and responding resources from Sending Government(s) will be incorporated as appropriate into that system.

  • That the offense for which the Offender was convicted and sentenced is one which would be punishable in the Receiving Government; provided, however, that this condition shall not be interpreted so as to require that the offense described in the laws of both Governments be identical in those matters which do not affect the nature of the crime.

  • The Receiving Government further covenants that in the performance of this Agreement, they do not have any interest, direct or indirect, which will conflict in any manner or degree with the performance of the emergency mutual aid hereunder.

  • The Receiving Government agrees to promptly process and pay actual costs to the Sending Government providing emergency mutual aid based on customary and good practices not withstanding potential reimbursements from State or Federal emergency relief programs.

  • Neither the Sending nor Receiving Government shall be required to deplete its own resources.

  • In the event of the Receiving Government’s noncompliance with the nondiscrimination clauses of this Agreement or with any of such rules, regulations, or orders, this Agreement may be canceled, terminated, or suspended in whole or in part and the Receiving Government may be declared ineligible to participate in a further emergency mutual aid Agreements.

  • The Receiving Government agrees to maintain adequate liability insurance or be self insured and to hold harmless and indemnify the Sending Government for any and all claims occurring while its personnel and equipment are working under the direction of the Receiving Government.

  • Both the Sending Government and the Receiving Government shall comply with all applicable rules and regulations promulgated by all local, state, federal and national boards, bureaus and agencies.

Related to Receiving Government

  • Host Government means a Government with which UNICEF has a programme of development cooperation, and includes a Government of a country in which UNICEF provides humanitarian assistance.
