Reduction or Removal definition

Reduction or Removal means a reduction or removal of one (1) metric tonne of CO2 equivalent caused by the activities of a Project during the Project Crediting Period.   • Tree removal means to kill or to cause irreparable damage that leads to the decline and/or death of a tree. Removal does not include responsible pruning and maintenance of a tree, or the application of treatments intended to manage invasive species.

  • Monthly Minimum Removal Efficiency means the minimum reduction in the pollutant parameter specified when the effluent average monthly concentration for that parameter is compared to the influent average monthly concentration.

  • Unauthorized Removal means the Contractor’s removal of Key Personnel without the prior written consent of the State.

  • Emergency removal means the suspension or expulsion of a student on an emergency basis, consistent with state law. Nothing in the Title IX regulations precludes a district from removing a respondent from the district’s education program or activity on an emergency basis, provided that the district follows all procedures under Massachusetts law, undertakes an individualized safety and risk analysis, determines that an immediate threat to the physical health or safety of any student or other individual arising from the allegations of sexual harassment justifies removal, and provides the respondent with notice and an opportunity to challenge the decision immediately following the removal.

  • Paint remover or stripper means any product designed to strip or remove paints or other related coatings, by chemical action, from a substrate without markedly affecting the substrate. “Paint Remover or Stripper” does not include “Multi-purpose Solvent,” paint brush cleaners, products designed and labeled exclusively as “Graffiti Remover,” and hand cleaner products that claim to remove paints and other related coatings from skin.

  • Load Reduction Event means a reduction in demand by a Member or Special Member for the purpose of participating in the PJM Interchange Energy Market.

  • Notice of Removal means a notice, under clause 17.4.5, from an Association to a Nominated Person Removing the Nominated Person.

  • Permitted Installation means the activities and the limits to those activities described in Table 1.1.1 of this Permit.

  • extended reduction means a reduction under this scheme for which a person is eligible under Part 12 (extended reductions);

  • Appraisal Reduction Event With respect to any Serviced Loan, the earliest of (i) the date on which such Serviced Loan becomes a Modified Asset, (ii) the date on which such Serviced Loan is 60 days or more delinquent in respect of any Monthly Payment, which does not include a Balloon Payment, (iii) solely in the case of a delinquent Balloon Payment, (A) the date occurring 60 days after the date on which such Balloon Payment was due (except as described in the immediately following clause (B)) or (B) if the related Mortgagor has delivered to the Master Servicer (who shall promptly deliver a copy thereof to the Special Servicer) or the Special Servicer (who shall promptly deliver a copy thereof to the Master Servicer) a refinancing commitment acceptable to the Special Servicer prior to the date 60 days after the Balloon Payment was due, the date occurring 120 days after the date on which the Balloon Payment was due (or such shorter period beyond the date on which that Balloon Payment was due during which the refinancing is scheduled to occur), (iv) the date on which the related Mortgaged Property has become an REO Property, (v) a receiver or similar official is appointed and continues for 60 days in such capacity in respect of the related Mortgaged Property, (vi) 60 days after the related Mortgagor is subject to a bankruptcy, insolvency or similar proceedings, which, in the case of an involuntary bankruptcy, insolvency or similar proceeding, is not dismissed within those 60 days, or (vii) the date on which such Serviced Loan remains outstanding five (5) years following any extension of its maturity date pursuant to Section 3.24 of this Agreement. If an Appraisal Reduction Event occurs with respect to any Serviced Mortgage Loan that is part of a Serviced Loan Combination, then an Appraisal Reduction Event shall be deemed to have occurred with respect to the related Serviced Companion Loan(s). If an Appraisal Reduction Event occurs with respect to any Serviced Companion Loan that is part of a Serviced Loan Combination, then an Appraisal Reduction Event shall be deemed to have occurred with respect to the related Serviced Mortgage Loan and any other Serviced Companion Loan(s) included as part of that Serviced Loan Combination. No Appraisal Reduction Event may occur at any time when the aggregate Certificate Balance of all Classes of Principal Balance Certificates (other than the Class A-1, Class A-2, Class A-3, Class A-4 and Class A-AB Certificates) has been reduced to zero. The Special Servicer shall notify the Master Servicer and the Master Servicer shall notify the Special Servicer, as applicable, promptly upon the occurrence of any of the foregoing events.

  • Reduction Date has the meaning set forth in Section 20.1B.

  • 85 percent removal means the arithmetic mean of the values for effluent samples collected in a period of 30 consecutive days shall not exceed 15 percent of the arithmetic mean of the values for influent samples collected at approximately the same times during the same period.

  • Facility or activity means any point source or treatment works treating domestic sewage or any other facility or activity (including land or appurtenances thereto) that is subject to regulation under the VSMP.

  • Unapplied Non-Extension Advance means any Non-Extension Advance other than an Applied Non-Extension Advance.

  • Legend Removal Date shall have the meaning ascribed to such term in Section 4.1(c).

  • Overadvance has the meaning set forth in Section 2.5.

  • Involuntary Disposition means any loss of, damage to or destruction of, or any condemnation or other taking for public use of, any property of any Loan Party or any Subsidiary.

  • Unscheduled Rebalance means an unscheduled rebalance occurring on a Valuation Date on which the rebalancing mechanism built in the relevant Index or Investment Strategy in respect of a Series of ETP Securities has been triggered by a change in the price of the corresponding Reference Asset of such Index or Investment Strategy by more than the relevant trigger level for the Index or Investment Strategy in accordance with its methodology.

  • Downgrade Advance means an Advance made pursuant to Section 2.02(c).

  • Applied Non-Extension Advance has the meaning assigned to such term in Section 2.06(a).

  • Nail polish remover means a product designed to remove nail polish and coatings from fingernails or toenails.

  • Replacement Airframe means an Airbus A321 aircraft or a comparable or improved model of Manufacturer (except (a) Engines or engines from time to time installed thereon and any and all Parts related to such Engine or engines and (b) Excluded Equipment), that shall have been made subject to the Lien of the Indenture pursuant to Section 7.05 thereof, together with all Parts relating to such aircraft.

  • Curtailment Shortfall For any Distribution Date and for any Curtailment received in the Prior Period, an amount equal to one month’s interest on such Curtailment at the Pass-Through Rate for the applicable Mortgage Loan.

  • Waste reduction , or “pollution prevention” means the practice of minimizing the generation of waste at the source and, when wastes cannot be prevented, utilizing environmentally sound on-site or off-site reuse and recycling. The term includes equipment or technology modifications, process or procedure modifications, product reformulation or redesign, and raw material substitutions. Waste treatment, control, management, and disposal are not considered pollution prevention, per the definitions under Part 143, Waste Minimization, of the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act (NREPA), 1994 PA 451, as amended.
