Refund Bank definition

Refund Bank shall have the meaning given to such term in the preamble to this Agreement;

Refund Bank means the Banker to the Issue which is a clearing member registered with SEBI under the SEBI BTI Regulations with whom the Refund Account will be opened, in this case being ICICI Bank Limited;

Examples of Refund Bank in a sentence

• The Refund Bank shall be responsible for reconciliation of the Refund Account with the Masters provided by the Registrar and the Refund Bank shall provide a list of paid/unpaid cases at regular intervals or as desired by the Registrar, BRLMs and the Company.

• The Registrar shall be liable for all consequences which may arise as a result of delay or error in such communication of the aforesaid changes to the Refund Bank.

• Upon receipt of instructions from the Company, BRLMs and/or the Registrar, the Refund Bank shall take the necessary steps to ensure closure of the Refund Account, once all Surplus Amounts or other amounts pursuant to Clause 3.2.1 or Clause 3.2.2, if any, are refunded to the Bidders to whom refunds are required to be made, in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.

• Further, the Registrar (with a copy to the BRLMs, the Company) shall also provide the Refund Bank with details of the Bidders to whom refunds have to be made and the amounts to be refunded thereto from the Refund Account in the prescribed form (Schedule IV) hereto.

• The Refund Bank shall immediately and in any event no later than one Working Day of the receipt of intimation as per Clause 3.2.4.1, issue refund instructions to the electronic clearing house, with notice to the BRLMs and the Company.
