Rejection means a process through which Clearing Corporation would convey the inability of itself and / or Settlement Bank and / or the CLS Bank to accede to a Member’s request for processing a Trade.
Rejected in relation to a complaint means that a complaint has not been upheld and the insurer regards the complaint as finalised after advising the complainant that it does not intend to take any further action to resolve the complaint and includes complaints regarded by the insurer as unjustified or invalid, or where the complainant does not accept or respond to the insurer’s proposals to resolve the complaint;
Nonconforming sign means a sign or sign structure, other than a nonstandard sign or a sign that is erected and maintained in a business area along a scenic byway prior to the designation as a scenic byway, that satisfies 1 of the following:
Rejection Claim means a Claim arising from the rejection of an Executory Contract or Unexpired Lease pursuant to section 365 of the Bankruptcy Code.
Non-Conforming Product means a Product that does not conform to the Supplier’s Warranties.
Rejection Notice has the meaning specified in Section 2.05(b)(v).

Rejection Event means, in respect of the Benchmark, the relevant competent authority or other relevant official body rejects or refuses or will reject or refuse any application for authorisation, registration, recognition, endorsement, equivalence, approval or inclusion in any official register which, in each case, is required in relation to the Securities, the Benchmark or the administrator or sponsor of the Benchmark under any applicable law or regulation for the Issuer or any other entity to perform its obligations in respect of the Securities.

Application for Payment means Contractor’s monthly partial invoice for payment that includes any portion of the Work that has been completed for which an invoice has not been submitted and performed in accordance with the requirements of the Contract Documents. The Application for Payment accurately reflects the progress of the Work, is itemized based on the Schedule of Values, bears the notarized signature of Contractor, and shall not include subcontracted items for which Contractor does not intend to pay.
Random selection process means a process by which currently income-eligible households are selected for placement in affordable housing units such that no preference is given to one applicant over another except for purposes of matching household income and size with an appropriately priced and sized affordable unit (e.g., by lottery).

Purchase Order means the form or format a Customer uses to make a purchase under the Contract (e.g., a formal written purchase order, electronic purchase order, procurement card, contract or other authorized means).

Certified Remanufacture System or Verified Engine Upgrade means engine upgrades certified or verified by EPA or CARB to achieve a reduction in emissions.
