Release of Hazardous Substances definition

Release of Hazardous Substances means any emission, spill, release, disposal, or discharge, except in accordance with a valid permit, license, certificate, or approval of the relevant Governmental Authority, of any Hazardous Substance into or upon (a) the air, (b) soils or any improvements located thereon, (c) surface water or groundwater, or (d) the sewer or septic system, or the waste treatment, storage, or disposal system servicing any Property of the Borrower or any of the Guarantors.
Release of Hazardous Substances means any emission, spill, release, disposal, or discharge, except in accordance with a valid permit, license, certificate, or approval of the relevant Governmental Authority, of any Hazardous Substance into or upon (a) the air, (b) soils or any improvements located thereon, (c) surface water or groundwater, or (d) the sewer or septic system, or the waste treatment, storage, or disposal system servicing any Property of the Borrower.
Release of Hazardous Substances means any emission, spill, release, disposal, or discharge, except in accordance with a valid permit, license, certificate, or approval of the relevant Governmental Authority, of any Hazardous Substance into or upon (a) the air, (b) soils or any improvements located thereon, (c) surface water or groundwater, or (d) the sewer or septic system, or the waste treatment, storage, or disposal system servicing any Property of the Borrower or any Guarantor, with respect to which the Borrower or any Guarantor is legally obligated to respond under applicable Environmental Laws, by notifying the relevant Governmental Authority, investigating or undertaking corrective action.

Examples of Release of Hazardous Substances in a sentence

  • Municipal shall notify National Grid first verbally, and then in writing, of the Release of Hazardous Substances that may reasonably be expected to affect Grid property as soon as possible but not later than twenty-four (24) hours after the incident, and shall promptly furnish to National Grid copies of any reports filed with any governmental agencies addressing such events.

  • Except where not required to do so pursuant to any Commercial Lease, the Borrower shall take prompt action in material compliance with applicable Environmental Laws to Respond to the on-site or off-site Release of Hazardous Substances connected with operation of its business or Property.

Release of Hazardous Substances means any emission, spill, release, disposal, or discharge, except in accordance with the Requirement of Law, a valid permit, license, certificate, or approval of the relevant Governmental Authority, of any Hazardous Substance into or upon (a) the air, (b) soils or any improvements located thereon, (c) surface water or groundwater, or (d) the sewer or septic system, or the waste treatment, storage, or disposal system servicing any Property of the Borrower.
Release of Hazardous Substances means any emission, spill, release, disposal or discharge, except in accordance with a valid permit, license, certificate or approval of the relevant Governmental Authority, and notice of which is required to be given thereof by the person responsible for such emission, spill, release, disposal or discharge to a Governmental Authority of any Hazardous Substance into or upon (a) the air, (b) soils or any improvements located thereon, (c) surface water or groundwater, or (d) the sewer, septic system or waste treatment, storage or disposal system servicing any Mortgaged Property of the Borrower.
Release of Hazardous Substances means the release or threatened release of any Hazardous Substances into or upon any land or water or air, or otherwise into the environment, including, by means of burying, disposing, discharging, injecting, emptying, emitting, spilling, leaking, flowing, seeping, leaching, dumping, pumping, pouring, escaping, placing and the like. Renewal Term is defined in paragraph (b) of Article 2. Rent Reset Closing Costs is defined in paragraph (a) of Article 23.
