Relevant State or Territory Training Authority definition

Relevant State or Territory Training Authority means the bodies in the relevant State or Territory which exercise approval powers in relation to Technology Cadetships and register training agreements under the relevant State or Territory vocational education and training legislation.

Relevant State or Territory Legislation means the Victorian Education and Training Accreditation Act 1990 or any successor. Trainee is an individual who is a signatory to a training agreement registered with the relevant State/Territory Training Authority and is involved in paid work and structured training which may be on- or off-the-job. "Trainee" does not include an individual who already has the competencies to which the traineeship is directed.
