Remedial Work definition

Remedial Work has the meaning assigned such term in Section 8.10(a).
Remedial Work is defined in Section 6.12(f).
Remedial Work means any investigation, monitoring, clean-up, containment, remediation, removal, payment of response costs, or restoration work and the preparation and implementation of any closure or other required remedial plans that any governmental agency or political subdivision requires or approves (or could reasonably be expected to require if it was aware of all relevant circumstances concerning the Property), whether by judicial order or otherwise, because of the presence of or suspected presence of Hazardous Substances in, on, under or about the Property or because of any prior Hazardous Substance Activity.

Examples of Remedial Work in a sentence

  • If Borrower fails to begin on a timely basis or diligently prosecute any required Remedial Work, Lender may, at its option, cause the Remedial Work to be completed, in which case Borrower shall reimburse Lender on demand for the cost of doing so.

  • In addition, the party doing the Remedial Work shall submit to the other party, promptly upon receipt or preparation, copies of any and all reports, studies, analyses, correspondence, governmental comments or approvals, proposed removal or other remedial work contracts and similar information prepared or received by such party in connection with any Remedial Work or Hazardous Materials relating to the Premises.

Remedial Work. Any investigation, inspection, site monitoring, containment, clean–up, removal, response, corrective action, mitigation, restoration or other remedial work of any kind or nature because of, or in connection with, the current or future presence, suspected presence, Release or threatened Release in or about the air, soil, ground water, surface water or soil vapor at, on, about, under or within all or any portion of any property or Mortgaged Property of any Materials of Environmental Concern, including any action to comply with any applicable Environmental Laws or directives of any Governmental Authority with regard to any Environmental Laws.
