Replacement RA definition

Replacement RA means Resource Adequacy Benefits, if any, equivalent to those that would have been provided by the Facility with respect to the applicable month in which a RA Deficiency Amount is due to Buyer, and located within SP 15 TAC Area and, to the extent that the Facility would have qualified as a Local Capacity Area Resource for such month, described as a Local Capacity Area Resource.
Replacement RA means Resource Adequacy Benefits, if any, equivalent to those that would have been provided by the Facility with respect to the applicable Showing Month in which a RA Deficiency Amount is due to Buyer, and, to the extent that Facility was eligible for Local RAR, located within NP 15 or Greater Bay Area Local Capacity Area Resource.
Replacement RA means Resource Adequacy Benefits, if any, equivalent to those that would have been provided by the Facility with respect to the applicable month in which a RA Deficiency Amount is due to Buyer, and located within the Northern Area TAC Area (as described in the CAISO Tariff) and, to the extent that the Facility would have qualified as a Local Capacity Area Resource for such month, described as a Local Capacity Area Resource.

Examples of Replacement RA in a sentence

  • For each RA Shortfall Month, Seller shall pay to Buyer the RA Deficiency Amount as liquidated damages or provide Replacement RA, in each case, as the sole remedy for the Capacity Attributes Seller failed to convey to Buyer.

  • In no event shall Seller have the right to procure any element of the Product from sources other than the Facility for sale or delivery to Buyer under this Agreement, except with respect to Replacement RA.

  • Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, the Project Participants authorize CCP to purchase all Facility Energy, Capacity Attributes, Ancillary Services, and Environmental Attributes associated with the Facility and any Replacement RA provided pursuant to the ESSA (collectively the “Product”), on behalf of the Project Participants.

  • For each RA Shortfall Month Seller shall pay to Buyer the RA Deficiency Amount as liquidated damages and/or provide Replacement RA, as set forth in Section 3.8(b), as the sole remedy for the Capacity Attributes that Seller failed to convey to Buyer.

  • For each RA Shortfall Month, Seller shall pay to Buyer the RA Deficiency Amount; provided that Seller may, as an alternative to paying RA Deficiency Amounts, provide Replacement RA in the amount of the RA Shortfall Amount, provided that any Replacement RA capacity is communicated by Seller to Buyer with Replacement RA product information in a written notice substantially in the form of Exhibit M at least seventy-five (75) days before the applicable CPUC Showing Month.


More Definitions of Replacement RA

Replacement RA has the meaning set forth in Section 1.1 of the ESSA.
Replacement RA means Resource Adequacy Benefits, if any, equivalent to those that would have been provided by the Facility with respect to the applicable Showing Month in all respects, including, as applicable, Resource Category and Flexible Capacity Category, and any successor criteria applicable to the Facility, unless Buyer consents to accept Replacement RA from another facility that provides non-equivalent Resource Adequacy Benefits; provided that any Replacement RA capacity must be communicated by Seller to Buyer with Replacement RA product information in a Notice to Buyer no later than the Notification Deadline.
