Resource Issuer definition

Resource Issuer means a corporation which represents, directly or indirectly, to the Partnership that:
Resource Issuer means a company whose principal business is mining exploration, development and/or production, certain energy production that may incur CRCE or, to a lesser extent, oil and gas exploration, development and/or production, and that is a “principal business corporation” as defined in subsection 66(15) of the Tax Act.
Resource Issuer means (i) a corporation that is a “principal-business corporation” as defined in subsection 66(15) of the Tax Act or (ii) a partnership or other entity that (a) carries on as its principal business the business of oil and gas exploration and development, mining exploration and development, generation of energy through alternative means or the development of projects for alternative energy generation or (b) invests in equity securities of any such entity.

Examples of Resource Issuer in a sentence

  • As of the date of this prospectus, the Partnership has not entered into any Share Purchase Agreements with any Resource Issuer.

  • In such circumstances, the General Partner will request that the transfer agent for each Resource Issuer provide share certificates registered in the name of each former Limited Partner.

Resource Issuer means a company whose principal business is mining exploration, development and/or production, certain energy production that may incur CRCE or, to a lesser extent, oil and gas exploration, development and/or production, and that is a “principal-business corporation” as defined in subsection 66(15) of the Tax Act, but does not include a company that carries on oil and gas activities that is not permitted to renounce oil, gas and coal exploration expenses that are CEE in respect of flow through share agreements entered into after March 2023.
Resource Issuer means a company which represents to the Partnership in a Flow-Through Agreement that it is a “principal-business corporation” as defined in subsection 66(15) of the Tax Act that intends (either by itself or through a Related Corporation) to incur Qualified CEE in respect of at least one property in Canada;
Resource Issuer. ’ means any company, partnership, limited partnership, trust or other entity whose principal business activity is engaging in the exploration, production, drilling, recovery, removal, disposal or production of Petroleum Substances and, to the extent reasonably incidental to the foregoing, processing, transportation or other related activities.

Related to Resource Issuer

  • CAISO Global Resource ID means the number or name assigned by the CAISO to the CAISO- Approved Meter.

  • Natural resources means land, fish, wildlife, biota, air, water, ground water, drinking water supplies, and other such resources belonging to, managed by, held in trust by, appertaining to, or otherwise controlled by the United States or the State.

  • Renewable energy resources means energy derived from solar, wind, geothermal, biomass, and hydroelectricity. A fuel cell using hydrogen derived from these eligible resources is also an eligible electric generation technology. Fossil and nuclear fuels and their derivatives are not eligible resources.

  • Resources shall have the meaning set forth in Section 23.1 of this Agreement.

  • Stormwater management planning agency means a public body authorized by legislation to prepare stormwater management plans.

  • Material support and resources means currency or monetary instruments or financial securities, financial services, lodging, training, expert advice or assistance, safehouses, false documentation or identification, communications equipment, facilities, weapons, lethal substances, explosives, personnel, transportation, and other physical assets, except medicine or religious materials.”

  • Natural Resource Damages or “NRD” means any damages recoverable by the United States or the State on behalf of the public for injury to, destruction of, or loss or impairment of Natural Resources at the Site as a result of a release of hazardous substances, including but not limited to: (i) the costs of assessing such injury, destruction, or loss or impairment arising from or relating to such a release; (ii) the costs of restoration, rehabilitation, or replacement of injured or lost natural resources or of acquisition of equivalent resources; (iii) the costs of planning such restoration activities; (iv) compensation for injury, destruction, loss, impairment, diminution in value, or loss of use of natural resources; and (v) each of the categories of recoverable damages described in 43 C.F.R. § 11.15 and applicable state law.

  • Source Watershed means the watershed from which a withdrawal originates. If water is withdrawn directly from a Great Lake or from the St. Lawrence River, then the source watershed shall be considered to be the watershed of that Great Lake or the watershed of the St. Lawrence River, respectively. If water is withdrawn from the watershed of a stream that is a direct tributary to a Great Lake or a direct tributary to the St. Lawrence River, then the source watershed shall be considered to be the watershed of that Great Lake or the watershed of the St. Lawrence River, respectively, with a preference to the direct tributary stream watershed from which it was withdrawn.

  • renewable energy sources means renewable sources such as small hydro, wind, solar including its integration with combined cycle, biomass, bio fuel cogeneration, urban or municipal waste and other such sources as approved by the MNRE;
