Energy Generation definition

Energy Generation. (General) shall mean all Energy Generation that is not Energy Generation (Limited) as defined above.

Energy Generation means any facility, whether privately or publically owned, that produces energy from (i) renewable natural resources such as sunlight, wind, water, or geo-thermal heat, and/or (ii) the burning of non-toxic materials and/or biomass such as solid waste, trash, or plant materials, or (iii) the burning of natural gas or other clean burning fuels. This term shall not include gas or oil processing or manufacturing facilities.

Energy Generation or “Power Generation” means the production of electric power using fuel oil and its derivatives, natural gas, renewable energy sources, or any other method.

Examples of Energy Generation in a sentence

  • The product is Green-e® Energy certified, and as a result all RECs purchased on behalf of Green Resource Mix Customers will conform to the Green-e® Renewable Energy Standard for Canada and the United States and are either registered with Western Renewable Energy Generation Information System (WREGIS) or provided via third party audited Green-e attestation.
