Responsive contractor definition

Responsive contractor means a contractor whose proposal responds to the bid specifications in all material respects and contains no irregularities or deviations from the specifications which would affect the amount of the bid or otherwise provide the contractor with a competitive advantage.

  • Prospective contractor means a person who is subject to the competitive sealed proposal process set forth in the Procurement Code or is not required to submit a competitive sealed proposal because that person qualifies for a sole source or a small purchase contract.

  • Contractor means the individual or entity, that has entered into this contract with the Commonwealth.

  • Subcontractor means any supplier, distributor, vendor, or firm that furnishes supplies or services to or for a prime contractor or another subcontractor.

  • Supplier/Contractor means the individual, firm or company with whom the contract has been concluded for supplying the Goods and Services under the Contract.   • Prime Contractor as used in this clause, means a person who has entered into a prime contract with the United States.

  • Subcontractors means subcontractors or subconsultants at any tier that are under the direct or indirect control or responsibility of the Contractor, and includes all independent contractors, agents, employees, authorized resellers, or anyone else for whom the Contractor may be liable at any tier, including a person or entity that is, or will be, providing or performing an essential aspect of this Contract, including Contractor’s manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers.

  • The Contractor means the individual or firm or company whether incorporate not, undertaking the works and shall include legal personal representative of individual or the composing the firm or company and the permitted assignees of individual or firms of company.

  • Contractor Personnel means Contractor’s employees and subcontractors (as well as any employees or subcontractors of those subcontractors) performing the Services.

  • Farm tractor means every motor vehicle designed and used primarily as a farm implement for drawing plows, mowing machines, and other implements of husbandry.
