Retention Basis Amount definition

Retention Basis Amount means the nominal value of all Collateral Loans held by the Borrower from time to time.
Retention Basis Amount. On any date of determination, an amount equal to the Collateral Principal Amount on such date with the following adjustments: (i) Defaulted Obligations shall be included in the Collateral Principal Amount and the principal balances thereof shall be deemed equal to their respective outstanding principal amounts and (ii) any Equity Security owned by the Issuer shall be included in the Collateral Principal Amount with a principal balance determined as follows: (a) in the case of a debt obligation or other debt security, the principal amount outstanding of such obligation or security, (b) in the case of an equity security received upon a “debt for equity swapin relation to a restructuring or other similar event, the principal amount outstanding of the debt which was swapped for the equity security and (c) in the case of any other equity security, the nominal value thereof as determined by the Collateral Manager.

Retention Basis Amount means, on any date of determination, an amount used for determining compliance with the EU Retention Requirements and equal to the sum of (i) the Aggregate Principal Balance of the Collateral Obligations (including any Defaulted Obligations regardless of the length of time since becoming a Defaulted Obligation) plus (ii) without duplication, with respect to any Equity Security, an amount equal to (a) in the case of a debt obligation or other debt security, the principal amount outstanding of such obligation or security,(b) in the case of an Equity Security received upon a "debt for equity swap" in relation to a restructuring or other similar event, the principal amount outstanding of the debt which was swapped for the Equity Security and (c) in the case of any other Equity Security, the nominal value thereof as determined by the Collateral Manager plus (iii) without duplication, the amounts on deposit in the Collection Account and the Ramp-Up Account (including Eligible Investments therein) representing Principal Proceeds. The Principal Balance of each Collateral Obligation forming a part of the Aggregate Principal Balance of the Collateral Obligations shall not be reduced by purchase price or market value for the purposes of determining the Retention Basis Amount.
Retention Basis Amount. Means, on the First Refinancing Date and on any date of determination after the First Refinancing Date, an amount calculated by the Collateral Manager, in compliance with US Risk Retention Regulations, to be 5% of the fair value of the Outstanding Securities on such date of determination.
