Robust Inactive Product definition

Robust Inactive Product means a product or component that (i) does not contain a Device Key, (ii) is designed not to have its DTCP functions be activated except by an Update, and (iii) is no less secure from circumvention (including but not limited to modification and/or compromise of Confidential Information or Highly Confidential Information) than Licensed Products are required to be hereunder. By way of example, a product or component consisting of software object code manufactured by Adopter shall be deemed a Robust Inactive Product if (x) if the portions implementing DTCP (including any portion of DTCP) are encrypted using a commercially reasonable strength of encryption and the keys necessary to decrypt and use such portions are not made available to any person or entity other than Adopter and (y) the product or component does not contain a Device Key.
Robust Inactive Product has the meaning set forth in the Form Adopter Agreement.

  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, Adopter may continue to manufacture and sell an Existing Model in which the implementation of DTCP is a Robust Inactive Product after December 31, 2010 provided that when such Robust Inactive Product is activated through an Update, such Update results in a Licensed Product that, in response to the Analog Sunset Token, limits analog video output of such content to SD Interlace Modes only.

  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, Adopter may continue to manufacture and sell an Existing Model in which the implementation of AACS Technology is a Robust Inactive Product after December 31, 2010 provided that when such Robust Inactive Product is activated through a Periodic Update, such Periodic Update results in a Licensed Product that limits analog outputs to SD Interlace Modes Only.

  • Where an Adopter can demonstrate that the cost of removing HDCP from a Robust Inactive Product would be substantial, Licensor shall not unreasonably decline written approval of an “extraordinary circumstance,” provided that such continued shipment would not perpetuate a breach of the Agreement that would affect the security of HDCP and there have not been repeated breaches of the Agreement by the Adopter.

  • Where an Adopter can demonstrate that the cost of removing HDCP from a Robust Inactive Product would be substantial, Licensor shall not unreasonably decline written approval of an “extraordinary circumstance,” provided that HDCP License Agreement Last Revised: March 6, 2017 such continued shipment would not perpetuate a breach of the Agreement that would affect the security of HDCP and there have not been repeated breaches of the Agreement by the Adopter.


More Definitions of Robust Inactive Product

Robust Inactive Product means those portions of a component or product, other than a Managed Copy Service or Evaluation Managed Copy Service, manufactured under license from AACS LA and the Licensors that embody a portion or all of the mandatory portions of one or more Specifications and which meets one of the following sets of conditions: 1.59.1 (i) is Connected; (ii) does not contain a Device Key; (iii) is no less secure from circumvention (including but not limited to modification and /or compromise of Confidential and Highly Confidential Information) than a Licensed Product is required to be; and (iv) meets the Robustness Rules that would be applicable to those portions implemented in such component or product if they were implemented in a Licensed Product, except that portions of such component or product implemented in software object code may, alternatively, meet the requirements of (iii) and this subsection (iv) if they are encrypted using a strength of encryption that is equal to or greater than the cipher used for encryption of Digital Entertainment Content as specified in the Specifications; provided that the keys necessary to decrypt and use such portions are not made available other than by the Adopter or its designee during the activation process described in the definition of Connected; or 1.59.2 (i) is a multi-purpose chip that has had its AACS Technology functions permanently disabled prior to shipment to a customer that did not elect to include such functions in its order; (ii) does not contain a Device Key, (iii) is no less secure from circumvention (including but not limited to modification and /or compromise of Confidential and Highly Confidential Information) than a Licensed Product is required to be; and (iv) meets the Robustness Rules that would be applicable to those portions implemented in such component or product if they were implemented in a Licensed Product.
Robust Inactive Product means those portions of a component or product, other than a AACS Online Service or Evaluation AACS Online Service, manufactured under license from AACS LA and the Licensors that embody a portion or all of the requirements of one or more Specifications and which meet one of the following sets of conditions: For review only - Not for execution 1.71.1. such portions (i) must be Activated by the end user prior to using their functionality; (ii) do not contain a Device Key; (iii) are no less secure from circumvention (including but not limited to modification and /or compromise of Confidential and Highly Confidential Information) than a Licensed Product is required to be; and (iv) meet the Robustness Rules that would be applicable to those portions implemented in such component or product if they were implemented in a Licensed Product, except that portions of such component or product implemented in software object code may, alternatively, meet the requirements of (iii) and this subsection (iv) if they are encrypted using a strength of encryption that is equal to or greater than the cipher used for encryption of Digital Entertainment Content as specified in the Specifications, provided that the keys necessary to decrypt and use such portions are not made available other than by Adopter or its designee during Activation; or 1.71.2. such portions (i) are contained in a multi-purpose chip that has had its AACS Technology functions permanently disabled prior to shipment to a customer that did not elect to include such functions in its order;
Robust Inactive Product means a product or component that (i) does not contain any Highly Confidential Information, (ii) is designed not to have HDCP functions be activated except by an Update and therefore shall not display HDCP Content via any output prior to being activated by such Update, and (iii) is no less secure from circumvention (including but not limited to modification and/or compromise of Confidential Information or Highly Confidential Information) than Licensed Products are required to be hereunder. By way of example, a product or component consisting of software object code manufactured by Adopter shall be deemed a Robust Inactive Product if (x) if the portions implementing HDCP (including any portion of HDCP) are encrypted using a commercially reasonable strength of encryption and the keys necessary to decrypt and use such portions are not made available to any person or entity other than Adopter and (y) the product or component does not contain a Device Key.   • Milk product or "dairy product" means cottage cheese, dry curd cottage cheese, reduced fat cottage cheese, lowfat cottage cheese, cream, light cream, light whipping cream, heavy cream, heavy whipping cream, whipped cream, whipped light cream, sour cream, acidified sour cream, cultured sour cream, half-and-half, sour half-and-half, acidified sour half-and-half, cultured sour half-and-half, reconstituted or recombined milk and milk products, concentrated milk, concentrated milk products, skim milk, lowfat milk, frozen milk concentrate, flavored milk, eggnog, buttermilk, cultured milk, cultured lowfat milk, cultured skim milk, yogurt, lowfat yogurt, nonfat yogurt, acidified milk, acidified lowfat milk, acidified skim milk, low-sodium milk, low-sodium lowfat milk, low-sodium skim milk, lactose-reduced milk, lactose-reduced lowfat milk, lactose-reduced skim milk, aseptically processed and packaged milk, milk products with added safe and suitable microbial organisms, and any other milk product made by the addition or subtraction of milkfat or addition of safe and suitable optional ingredients for protein, vitamin, or mineral fortification. Unless a product is considered a milk product under this subdivision, milk product does not include dietary products, infant formula, ice cream or other desserts, cheese, or butter. Milk products include the following:

  • Product means any deliverable under the Contract, which may include commodities, services, technology or software.

  • Tobacco product means any substance containing tobacco leaf, including but not limited to, cigarettes, cigars, pipe tobacco, hookah tobacco, snuff, chewing tobacco, dipping tobacco, bidis, blunts, clove cigarettes, or any other preparation of tobacco; and any product or formulation of matter containing biologically active amounts of nicotine that is manufactured, sold, offered for sale, or otherwise distributed with the expectation that the product or matter will be introduced into the human body by inhalation; but does not include any cessation product specifically approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for use in treating nicotine or tobacco dependence.

  • Aerosol coating product means a pressurized coating product containing pigments or resins that dispenses product ingredients by means of a propellant, and is packaged in a disposable can for hand-held application, or for use in specialized equipment for ground traffic/marking applications.

  • Edible cannabis product means cannabis product that is intended to be used, in whole or in part, for human consumption, including, but not limited to, chewing gum, but excluding products set forth in Division 15 (commencing with Section 32501) of the Food and Agricultural Code. An edible cannabis product is not considered food, as defined by Section 109935 of the Health and Safety Code, or a drug, as defined by Section 109925 of the Health and Safety Code.

  • Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient or “API” shall mean one or more of the following active pharmaceutical ingredients: tenofovir alafenamide (“TAF”), tenofovir disoproxil fumarate (“TDF”), elvitegravir (“EVG”), and cobicistat (“COBI”).

  • Defective Product has the meaning set forth in Section 5.2.

  • Nicotine product means a product that contains nicotine and is not any of the following:

  • Diagnostic source assembly means the tube housing assembly with a beam-limiting device attached.

  • Tobacco product manufacturer means an entity that after the date of enactment of this Act directly (and not exclusively through any affiliate):

  • Biological product means a virus, therapeutic serum, toxin, antitoxin, vaccine, blood, blood component or derivative, allergenic product, protein other than a chemically synthesized polypeptide, or analogous product, or arsphenamine or any derivative of arsphenamine or any other trivalent organic arsenic compound, applicable to the prevention, treatment, or cure of a disease or condition of human beings.

  • Finished Product means a cannabis product in its final form to be sold at a retail premises.

  • Marihuana-infused product means a topical formulation, tincture, beverage, edible substance, or similar product containing marihuana and other ingredients and that is intended for human consumption.

  • Aerosol Product means a pressurized spray system that dispenses product ingredients by means of a propellant contained in a product or a product's container, or by means of a mechanically induced force. “Aerosol Product” does not include “Pump Spray.”

  • Pharmaceutical Product shall have the meaning ascribed to such term in Section 3.1(hh).

  • Tobacco products means cigars, cigarettes, cheroots, stogies, periques, granulated, plug cut, crimp cut, ready rubbed, and other smoking tobacco, snuff, snuff flour, moist snuff, cavendish, ping and twist tobacco, fine-cut and other chewing tobaccos, shorts, refuse scraps, clippings, cuttings and sweepings of tobacco, and other kinds and forms of tobacco, prepared in such manner as to be suitable for chewing or smoking in a pipe or otherwise, or both for chewing and smoking.

  • Medical marijuana product means a product that contains cannabinoids that have been extracted from plant material or the resin therefrom by physical or chemical means and is intended for administration to a licensed patient, including but not limited to concentrates, oils, tinctures, edibles, pills, topical forms, gels, creams, and other derivative forms, except that this term does not include live plant forms.

  • Hemp product means the same as that term is defined in § 3.2-4112.

  • API means the American Petroleum Institute.

  • New Product means the Synology-branded hardware product and Synology-branded accessories contained in the original packaging Customer bought from an authorized Synology distributor or reseller. You may see our “New Product” at Product Support Status.

  • Cannabis product means cannabis that has undergone a process whereby the plant material has been transformed into a concentrate, including, but not limited to, concentrated cannabis, or an edible or topical product containing cannabis or concentrated cannabis and other ingredients.

  • Hemp products means all products made from industrial hemp,

  • Existing Product means any formulation of the same product category and form sold, supplied, manufactured, or offered for sale in California prior to the following dates, or any subsequently introduced identical formulation:

  • Active Ingredient means the clinically active material(s) that provide pharmacological activity in a pharmaceutical product (excluding formulation components such as coatings, stabilizers, excipients or solvents, adjuvants or controlled release technologies).

  • medicinal product means any substance or combination of substances presented for treating or preventing disease in human beings or animals and any substance or combination of substances which may be administered to human beings or animals with a view to making a medical diagnosis or to restoring, correcting or modifying physiological functions in humans or in animals;

  • Red Hat Products means Software, Services, Subscriptions and other Red Hat branded offerings made available by Red Hat.
