Rowing Activities definition

Rowing Activities means performing or participating in any capacity in any Rowing Organisation event, regatta or activity;

  • I ACKNOWLEDGE, agree and represent that I understand the nature of Rowing Activities, both on water and land based, and that I am qualified, in good health, and in proper physical condition to participate in such Activity.

  • All other persons involved in the organisation, conduct and promotion of the Rowing Activities or construction or location of the facilities used in connection with or otherwise related to the Rowing Activities.

  • I understand that my own action or inaction, the action or inaction of others, the conditions in which the Rowing Activities take place, or the negligence of one or more of the Releasees may expose me to danger and the Risks.

  • Without limiting the generality of the forgoing, I do not suffer from a heart condition or other ailment that participation in the Rowing Activities could aggravate.

  • I am in good health and am medically fit for participation in the Rowing Activities.

  • I fully accept and assume the Risks and full responsibility for all injury, damages, loss and costs I may suffer arising from my participation in any of the Rowing Activities.

  • I am responsible for my own safety and will participate in the Rowing Activities within the limits of my abilities.

  • I will indemnify, save and hold harmless the Releasees from any and all liability for any property damage or personal injury to the Releasees or any of them, or to any third party, resulting from my participation in the Rowing Activities.

  • I further understand that the Risks may arise from dangers including, but not limited to, the physical exertion involved in the Rowing Activities; carrying boats; placing boats in and lifting them out of the water and storage locations; collision with another boat, or a floating or stationary object; equipment malfunction; capsizing; swamping in waves caused by passing vessels or adverse weather; hypothermia; hyperthermia; and drowning.

Related to Rowing Activities

  • Competing Activities means the same or similar services as Xxxxxx Xxx Ltd is providing to the Restaurant under this Agreement or other activities having a similar purpose.

  • Activities has the meaning specified in Section 7.02(b).

  • Permitted Activities The primary activities of the trust created pursuant to this Agreement which shall be:

  • Restricted Activities means those activities described in section 9 of this Agreement.

  • Extracurricular activities means: a voluntary activity sponsored by the school or local education agency or an organization sanctioned by the local education agency. Extracurricular activities include, but are not limited to, preparation for and involvement in public performances, contests, athletic competitions, demonstrations, displays, and club activities.

  • Eligible activities or "eligible activity" means 1 or more of the following:

  • licensed activities means things authorised to be done by the licence

  • Funded Activities means the activities set out in Annex 2 of these Conditions; Funding Period means the period for which the Grant is awarded starting on the Commencement Date and ending on [INSERT PROJECT END DATE]; General Data Protection Regulations and GDPR means (Regulation (EU) 2016/679); Grant means the sum or sums the Authority will pay to the Grant Recipient in accordance with paragraph 4 of these Conditions and subject to the provisions set out at paragraph 26.

  • Intrascholastic Activities means athletic or non-athletic/academic activities where students compete with students from within the same school.

  • High Risk Activities means activities where the use or failure of the Services would reasonably be expected to result in death, serious personal injury, or severe environmental or property damage (such as the creation or operation of weaponry).

  • investment services and activities means any of the services and activities listed in Section A of Annex I relating to any of the instruments listed in Section C of Annex I;

  • Corrupt activities means any corrupt activities as contemplated in the Prevention and Combating of Corrupt Activities Act 2004 (Act no. 12 of 2004)

  • Principal activities means activities authorized by the license which are essential to achieving the purpose(s) for which the license was issued or amended. Storage during which no licensed material is accessed for use or disposal and activities incidental to decontamination or decommissioning are not principal activities.

  • Interscholastic Activities means athletic or non-athletic/academic activities where students compete on a school vs. school basis.
