Same Confinement definition

Same Confinement means that if two or more Confinements are due to the same or related Covered Injury or Covered Illness, or to any complications arising there from, such Confinements shall be regarded as one Confinement if each of them is not separated by more than 90 days from the paid or payable Confinement which immediately precedes it. This rule shall be observed in determining the limit of the Surgical Benefit.

This rule shall be observed in determining the limit of the benefits. “Schedule of Benefits” means the attachment to this Policy entitled “Schedule of Benefits” as may be amended by Us from time to time.

Examples of Same Confinement in a sentence

  • Under low-N stress, grain yield losses ranged from 26% to 80%, with an average loss of 49% (Table 18).

  • When You shall be confined for more than thirty (30) consecutive days for the Same Confinement, an additional benefit equal to one (1) times the Daily Hospital Income Benefit shall be paid commencing from the thirty-first (31st) day of Confinement up to a maximum of thirty (30) days for the Same Confinement.

  • An additional benefit equal to one (1) times the Daily Hospital Income Benefit shall be paid for each day during which You are confined in an Intensive Care Unit up to a maximum of thirty (30) days for the Same Confinement.

  • If, for Medically Necessary treatment of an Emergency Medical Condition, the Insured is admitted as an In-Patient to a hospital which meets all the conditions of a Hospital as defined in this Policy except that it is not approved by the Company (refer to (iii) of definition of “Hospital”), we shall deem it an admission to a hospital meeting our definition, provided that such Confinement is no more than 5 Days in respect of the Same Confinement.

  • While this Policy is in force and during the lifetime of the Insured, if the Insured is Confined in a Hospital for Medically Necessary treatment of a Covered Injury or Covered Illness, we will pay the Daily Hospital Benefit for each Day of Confinement in the Hospital but not exceeding ninety (90) days for any one Covered Injury or Covered Illness in respect of the Same Confinement.

  • Confinement means total or partial confinement.

  • URGENT CARE CENTER means a healthcare center either affiliated with a hospital or other institution or independently owned and operated. These centers may also be referred to as walk-in centers.

  • Procurement means the purchasing, buying, renting, leasing, or otherwise obtaining of any supplies, services, or construction. It includes all functions that pertain to the procurement of any supply, service, or construction item, including description of requirements, selection and solicitation of sources, preparation and award of contract, and all phases of contract administration;

  • LOCKHEED XXXXXX Procurement Representative means a person authorized by LOCKHEED XXXXXX'x cognizant procurement organization to administer and/or execute this Contract.

  • HRS means Hawaii Revised Statutes.

  • Training means instruction or teaching designed to impart a specific skill, as opposed to general knowledge.

  • Day care center means any child day care facility other than a family day care home, and includes infant centers, preschools, extended day care facilities and school age child care centers.

  • Child care center means an entity that regularly provides child day care and early learning services for a group of children for periods of less than twenty-four hours licensed by the Washington state department of early learning under chapter 170-295 WAC.
