Sessional Teacher definition

Sessional Teacher means a teacher employed as such and engaged to work on a part- time basis for a specified period of not less than 21 weeks or more than 48 weeks in any calendar year.
Sessional Teacher means a teacher employed to work on an hourly basis and paid in accordance with the rates prescribed in Schedule A, Clause 3.
Sessional Teacher means a teacher employed to work full-time or part-time for a specified period or periods of not less than four weeks in one engagement and not more than 40 weeks in any year.

Examples of Sessional Teacher in a sentence

  • The minimum ordinary hours of teaching of a Sessional Teacher is seven hours per week and the maximum ordinary hours of teaching is seventeen hours per week.

  • Decrease coal-generated electricity in Linn County to 0% by 2050.

  • Subject to the Sessional Teacher’s satisfactory conduct and performance, where an equivalent position will exist following the expiry of the Sessional Teacher’s period of engagement, TAFE NSW will offer a further engagement to the Sessional Teacher.

  • If a public holiday occurs on a day when a Sessional Teacher is normally required to attend for duty based on their ordinary days of work each week, they shall be entitled to be absent and be paid for that day's normally programmed hours.

  • These weeks of paid-non-attendance are additional compensation for the duties related to teaching that a Sessional Teacher performs during their engagement as outlined in Clause 38.13.

  • A Sessional Teacher shall be entitled to up to two days compassionate leave without deduction of pay on each occasion when a person prescribed in subclause 35.9.1(iii) contracts, develops or sustains an illness or injury that poses a serious threat to his or her life or dies.

  • A Sessional Teacher will accrue annual leave loading at the rate of 17½% based on the monetary value of the annual leave accrued by the employee during the year.

  • Where practical, Additional Related Duties hours are to be arranged so that the Sessional Teacher can attend staff meetings, professional development and other related duties during these hours on the day/s the teacher is programmed to teach.

Related to Sessional Teacher

  • Classroom teacher means a teacher subject to annual performance evaluation review under the provisions of Education Law Section 3012-c.

  • Occasional Teacher means an “Occasional Teacher” as defined in the Education Act.

  • Management Team means Xxxxxx X. X’Xxxxxxx, Xxxxxxx X. Xxxxxx, Xx. and Xxxxx X. Xxxxxxxxxx.

  • Project Managers means the person at Developer responsible for the project management of Product and identified in Schedule 2;

  • Career teacher means a teacher who:

  • Program Director means an individual who has complete responsibility for the day to day function of the program. The Program Director is the highest level of decision making at a local, program level.

  • Program Manager refers to the professional management firm selected by the Owner as the Owner’s representative for the Project, and its employees and consultants.

  • Team Leader means an employee who is in a set or team and who is generally responsible for the work executed by the employees comprising such set or team;

  • Project Team means Owner, Contractor, A/E and consultants, any separate Contractors employed by Owner, and others employed for the purpose of programming, design, and construction of the Project. The members of the Project Team will be designated in writing by Owner and may be modified from time to time in writing by Owner.

  • Team means a team affiliated to a Club, including where a Club provides more than one team in the Competition in accordance with the Rules.

  • Project Manager means the principal employee or agent of the Recipient having administrative authority over the Project designated in Appendix B pursuant to Section VI hereof, or authorized designee as per written notification to the Director.

  • Training manager means the individual responsible for administering a training program and monitoring the performance of principal instructors and guest instructors.

  • Head Teacher means the head teacher of the Academy;

  • Payment Initiation Service Provider or “PISP” means an authorised third party provider which provides a service that allows that third party to pass payment instructions to us on your behalf in relation to your Account.

  • Session means the period beginning when the House first meets after Parliament has at any time been prorogued or dissolved and ending when Parliament is prorogued or when Parliament is dissolved without having been prorogued;

  • Alliance Manager has the meaning set forth in Section 3.1.

  • Contract Manager means the DNR staff person who processes this contract, makes payments, provides and facilitates dispute resolution, provides technical advice to the Compliance Forester, and is the first point of contact for questions relating to this contract or interpretation of Work. The Contract Manager may perform the duties of the Compliance Forester.

  • Long Term Occasional Teacher means an Occasional Teacher who is employed for more than ten (10) consecutive instructional days as a replacement for one teacher.

  • Student teaching means a supervised teaching practice occurring near the end of an applicant's approved program.

  • Interdisciplinary team means a group of persons with varied professional backgrounds who meet with the member to develop a comprehensive service plan to address the member’s need for services.

  • Trainer means a dentist whose name is included in sub-part A of the first part of the dental list who employs a trainee as an assistant in accordance with paragraph 2 of this Determination;

  • Project Director means an employee of the Recipient designated by the Authorized Representative to be responsible for the overall management of the administrative and technical aspects of the executed Agreement. The Project Director is set forth in Section 2 of this Agreement.

  • Teacher means teachers, paraprofessionals, principals, school employees, contractors, and other administrators.

  • Development Team means the entities and professionals assembled to develop and manage the Project, typically including the Applicant, Owner, Developer(s), Co-Developer(s) and general partner or any other related entities in which the Developer or Co-Developer has an identity of interest or a Controlling Interest.

  • Senior Management Team means (a) each Authorized Officer, the chief executive officer, secretary and (b) any chief executive officer, president, vice president, chief financial officer, treasurer or secretary of any Subsidiary Guarantor.

  • Helpdesk means the helpdesk facility provided by GBG to handle enquiries and administration for the Service.
