Settlement Suspension definition

Settlement Suspension means, following the determination of an Event Determination Date but prior to the Settlement Date, if ISDA on its website http://dc.isda.org (or any successor website) announces that the conditions to convening a Credit Derivatives Determinations Committee to Resolve whether and when a Credit Event has occurred with respect to a Reference Entity, the suspension of any settlement and such settlement shall remain suspended until such time as ISDA on its website http://dc.isda.org (or any successor website) subsequently announces that the relevant Credit Derivatives Determinations Committee has Resolved (a) that an event that constitutes a Credit Event has occurred with respect to the Reference Entity or (b) not to determine such matters.

Related to Settlement Suspension

  • Settlement Notice has the meaning specified in Section 14.02(a)(iii).

  • Resettlement means the impact of an involuntary taking of land under the Project, which taking causes affected persons to have their: (i) standard of living adversely affected; or (ii) right, title or interest in any house, land (including premises, agricultural and grazing land) or any other fixed or movable asset acquired or possessed, temporarily or permanently; or (iii) access to productive assets adversely affected, temporarily or permanently; or (iv) business, occupation, work or place of residence or habitat adversely affected, temporarily or permanently.

  • Administrator/Benchmark Event means, in respect of any Series of Preference Shares and an Index, any authorisation, registration, recognition, endorsement, equivalence decision, approval or inclusion in any official register in respect of the Index or the administrator of the Index or the Index Sponsor has not been, or will not be, obtained or has been, or will be, rejected, refused, suspended or withdrawn by the relevant competent authority or other relevant official body, in each case as required under any applicable law or regulation in order for the Company, the Calculation Agent or any other entity to performits or their respective obligations in respect of the Preference Shares or any Related Financial Product, all as determined by the Calculation Agent;
