The person so surrendered shall remain in custody during the period of surrender and shall be returned at the conclusion of the proceedings against that person in accordance with conditions to be determined by agreement of the Executive Authorities of the Signatory Governments.
If questions arise regarding the basis for these assumptions during the period between the signature of this Agreement and its effective date, the provisions of this Agreement may be revised and adjustments made on the basis of mutual agreement of the Signatory Governments.
Instruments of ratification or acceptance shall be deposited by the Signatory Governments with the Depositary before 1 July 1965.
Subject to the provisions of Articles 4 and 7 of Part II of this Agreement, the Assembly shall allocate German reparation among the Signatory Governments in conformity with the provisions of this Agreement and of any other agreements from time to time in force among the Signatory Governments.

The Signatory Governments do not intend that paragraph 6 of Article XV preclude the operation of Section 174 of the Compact, provided that paragraph 5 of Article XV governs the operation of Section 174 (c) of the Compact.
The Trustee shall retain documents, records, bills and other data compiled during the term of this Agreement for the respective periods required by the laws or regulations governing the Trustee and any other applicable laws (including the federal securities laws and the Code), and is authorized to destroy any of such data at the times permitted by such laws or regulations, unless the Sponsor reasonably requests the Trustee in writing to retain any such item(s) for a longer period.
