Where a Site inspection is required, Bidder shall be required to inspect the Site, including environmental or other conditions, for pre-existing deficiencies that may affect the installed Product or that may affect Bidder’s ability to properly deliver, install or otherwise provide the required Product.
The Contractor may not rely upon the accuracy of any such information, other than that provided under Sections 2.2.2 and 2.2.4 (except that the Contractor may not rely upon and must question in writing to the Owner and the Architect any information which appears incorrect based upon Contractor’s Site inspection, knowledge of the Work and Project, and prior experience with similar projects), unless specifically stated in writing that the Contractor may rely upon the designated information.
Site inspection will be made by individuals designated by the procurement officer at the Unified Government's expense.
ITB.3.3. The Site inspection shall be completed before submission of the bid.
The submission of a Proposal shall be considered prima facie evidence that the Proposer has made such examination and is satisfied (i) as to the conditions to be encountered in performing the Work, as readily observable from a Site inspection prior to the Proposal Due Date or as specified in the Contract Documents, and (ii) as to the requirements of the Contract.
