Small organization definition

Small organization means any not-for-profit enterprise that is independently owned and operated and is not dominant in its field; and

Small organization means an obligated organization with at least one but fewer than 50 employees in Ontario, other than the Government of Ontario, the Legislative Assembly or a designated public sector organization. (“petite organisation”) O. Reg. 191/11, s. 2; O. Reg. 413/12, s. 2.
Small organization means an unincorporated association, sheltered workshop, or nonprofit enterprise having fewer than four hundred employees. This definition is not limited to the types of small organizations expressly mentioned, and includes all other types of small organizations, so long as such organizations have fewer than four hundred employees.
Small organization. ’ as used in the RFA, means ‘‘any not-for-profit enterprise which is independently owned and operated and is not dominant in its field * * *.’’ 5 U.S.C. 601(4). The RFA does not incorporate the size standards of the Small Business Administration for small organizations. Agencies are expressly authorized to establish their own definition of small organization. Id.
Small organization means owners and/or operators with less than 10 total staff dedicated to property management, asset management, and/or compliance. In Attachment A, please do not include resident services staff or maintenance staff in the count, combine your onsite and office staff dedicated to the listed work to calculate your staff total.
