Snippet Display definition

Snippet Display means uses that display to users of Google Products and Services up to three (3) “snippets” (each snippet being about three (3) to four (4) lines of text) per search term per user.

  • When Google may make any Snippet Display of a Book under this Amended Settlement Agreement, Google may also allow third parties that have entered into agreements with Google (a) to display snippets served by Google on their websites in response to user interactions on their websites and (b) to cache temporarily snippets transmitted by Google as described in the foregoing clause (a) for future display on their websites in response to user interactions on their websites.
