Solomon Islands fishing zone definition

Solomon Islands fishing zone means the waters over which Solomon Islands, as regards fisheries, has sovereignty or jurisdiction. The fishing activities by Community vessels provided for in this Agreement shall be carried out only in the zones in which fishing is authorised under Solomon Islands law;
Solomon Islands fishing zone means the waters over which Solomon Islands, as regards fisheries, has sovereignty or jurisdiction. The fishing activities by EU vessels provided for in this Agreement shall be carried out only in the zones in which fishing is authorised under Solomon Islands law;

  • Shipowners shall undertake to employ, for the tuna-fishing season in Solomon Islands fishing zone, at least 25 % seamen of ACP origin, giving priority to Solomon Islands seamen.

  • The words "Outside Solomon Islands fishing zone" shall be entered in the logbook in respect of periods during which the vessel is not in Solomon Islands fishing zone.

  • Quadriplegia means total Paralysis of both upper and lower limbs. “Hemiplegia” means total Paralysis of the upper and lower limbs on one side of the body. “Uniplegia” means total Paralysis of one lower limb or one upper limb. “Paraplegia” means total Paralysis of both lower limbs or both upper limbs. “Paralysis” means total loss of use. A Doctor must determine the loss of use to be complete and not reversible at the time the claim is submitted.

  • Shoreland means land, as defined in Minn. Stat. § 103F.205, subd. 4, located within 1,000 feet from the normal high water mark of a lake, pond, or flowage and 300 feet of a river or stream or the landward side of floodplain delineated by ordinance on such a river or stream, whichever is greater.

  • AT&T OKLAHOMA means the AT&T owned ILEC doing business in Oklahoma.

  • China means the People’s Republic of China, excluding, for purposes of this Agreement, Hong Kong, the Macau Special Administrative Region of the PRC and Taiwan.

  • LHSIA means the Local Health System Integration Act, 2006, and the regulations made under it, as it and they may be amended from time to time;

  • Black People is a generic term which means Africans, Coloureds and Indians;

  • Blackwater means wastewater contaminated by human body waste, toilet paper and any other material intended to be deposited in a receptor designed to receive urine or feces.

  • AT&T KENTUCKY means the AT&T owned ILEC doing business in Kentucky.

  • AT&T LOUISIANA means the AT&T owned ILEC doing business in Louisiana.

  • AT&T MISSISSIPPI means the AT&T owned ILEC doing business in Mississippi.

  • Shorelands or "shoreland areas" means those lands extending landward for two hundred feet in all directions as measured on a horizontal plane from the ordinary high water mark; floodways and contiguous floodplain areas landward two hundred feet from such floodways; and all wetlands and river deltas associated with the streams, lakes, and tidal waters which are subject to the provisions of this chapter; the same to be designated as to location by the department of ecology.

  • India means the territory of India and includes the territorial sea and airspace above it, as well as any other maritime zone in which India has sovereign rights, other rights and jurisdiction, according to the Indian law and in accordance with international law, including the U.N. Convention on the Law of the Sea;

  • Youth center means any public or private facility that is primarily used to host recreational or social activities for minors, including, but not limited to, private youth membership organizations or clubs, social service teenage club facilities, video arcades, or similar amusement park facilities.

  • Mauritius means the Republic of Mauritius and includes:

  • AT&T KANSAS means the AT&T owned ILEC doing business in Kansas.

  • Houseboat means a powered vessel containing living accommodation, usually flat- bottomed and used in navigation.

  • Coastal area means coastal area as defined in section 22a-93(3) of the Connecticut General Statutes. “Coastal waters” means coastal waters as defined in section 22a-93(5) of the Connecticut General Statutes. “Commissioner” means commissioner as defined in section 22a-2(b) of the Connecticut General Statutes.

  • Motorway means a road specially designed and built for motor traffic, which does not serve properties bordering on it, and which:

  • Urban Enterprise Zones means a zone designated by the New Jersey Enterprise Zone Authority pursuant to the New Jersey Urban Enterprise Zones Act, N.J.S.A. 52:27H-60 et. seq.

  • Fat wood means pieces of wood kindling with high naturally-occurring levels of sap or resin which enhance ignition of the kindling. “Fat wood” does not include any kindling with substances added to enhance flammability, such as wax-covered or wax-impregnated wood-based products.

  • Virginia Stormwater Management Program authority or "VSMP authority" means an authority approved by the State Board after September 13, 2011, to operate a Virginia Stormwater Management Program.
