plain language means language that can be understood by a reasonable person, applying a reasonable effort;
Primary language means the dominant language used by a person for communication.
Speech-language pathology means the care and services provided by a licensed speech-language pathologist as set forth in the member state's statutes and rules.

English language learner means limited English proficient pupils who speak a language other than English as their primary language and have difficulty speaking, reading, writing, or understanding English as reported to the center.
Open Source Materials means software or other material that is distributed as “free software,” “open source software” or under similar licensing or distribution terms (including the GNU General Public License (GPL), GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL), Mozilla Public License (MPL), BSD licenses, the Artistic License, the Netscape Public License, the Sun Community Source License (SCSL) the Sun Industry Standards License (SISL) and the Apache License).
Source Materials means uranium containing the mixture of isotopes occurring in nature; uranium whose content in uranium 235 is less than the normal; thorium; any of the foregoing in the form of metal, alloy, chemical compound or concentrate; any other substance containing one or more of the foregoing in such a concentration as shall be specified by the Council, acting by a qualified majority on a proposal from the Commission.
Open Source Software means any Software that is subject to or licensed, provided or distributed under, any license meeting the Open Source Definition (as promulgated by the Open Source Initiative as of the date of this Agreement) or the Free Software Definition (as promulgated by the Free Software Foundation as of the date of this Agreement) or any similar license for “free,” “publicly available” or “open source” Software, including the GNU General Public License, the Lesser GNU General Public License, the Apache License, the BSD License, Mozilla Public License (MPL), and the MIT License.
Specially Written Software means any software created by the Contractor (or by a third party on behalf of the Contractor) specifically for the purposes of this Contract.
Source material means: (1) uranium or thorium, or any combination thereof, in any physical or chemical form or (2) ores which contain by weight one-twentieth of one percent (0.05 percent) or more of (i) uranium, (ii) thorium or (iii) any combination thereof. Source material does not include special nuclear material.
Client Publications means the general client publications of State Street Bank and Trust Company available from time to time to clients and their investment managers.
Software Product means any COTS which you propose to provide pursuant to the contract.
Open Source License means any license meeting the Open Source Definition (as promulgated by the Open Source Initiative) or the Free Software Definition (as promulgated by the Free Software Foundation), or any substantially similar license, including any license approved by the Open Source Initiative or any Creative Commons License. “Open Source Licenses” shall include Copyleft Licenses.
Software means (a) all computer programs, including source code and object code versions, (b) all data, databases and compilations of data, whether machine readable or otherwise, and (c) all documentation, training materials and configurations related to any of the foregoing.
Publications means communication to the offices of a Member, including subscriptions to newspapers, and periodicals.

Software Products means any and all Software that is or has been distributed by the Division or Division Subsidiaries and their predecessors, and any similar products developed or under development by Seller relating to the Business as of the date of the Agreement, and all documentation, packaging materials, promotional materials, and training materials relating to any of the foregoing.
Version of a variant means vehicles, which consist of a combination of items shown in the information package subject to the requirements in Annex VIII.
Software License means a license for the Software granted under this XXXX to the Licensee;
Company Product means each product or product candidate that is being researched, tested, developed, commercialized, manufactured, sold or distributed by or on behalf of the Company or any of its Subsidiaries.
Company Products means all products or services produced, marketed, licensed, sold, distributed or performed by or on behalf of the Company or any Subsidiary and all products or services currently under development by the Company or any Subsidiary.
Authority Software means software which is owned by or licensed to the Authority, including software which is, or will be used by the Contractor for the purpose of providing the Services but excluding the Contractor Software.
Software Updates means the Software releases, service packs, build updates or emergency fixes released from time to time in accordance with the Vocera’s update policy for such Software.
