Special teacher definition

Special teacher means a person, employed by or under contract with a school district or a state institution to provide special education or related services, who is: (1) Qualified to provide special education or related services to exceptional children as determined pursuant to standards established by the state board; or (2) qualified to assist in the provision of special education or related services to exceptional children as determined pursuant to standards established by the state board.
