Specified Penalty definition

Specified Penalty means a specified penalty as defined in the Provincial Offences Procedures Act (Alberta).
Specified Penalty means a penalty specified in Schedule “A” of this bylaw for committing an offence under this bylaw when such offence is being prosecuted by way of a Violation Ticket.
Specified Penalty means a penalty that has been specified by the Commission in respect of a contravention of an ISO Rule or a Reliability Standard, pursuant to section 52 of the AUCA.

Examples of Specified Penalty in a sentence

  • However, the MSA may make an administrative application to the Commission in instances where a Specified Penalty is not commensurate with the seriousness of the conduct at issue.

  • The MSA may, prior to commencing an action before the Commission, seek additional Information to confirm intent to pay or to dispute the Specified Penalty, as well as to establish the basis of a potential dispute.

More Definitions of Specified Penalty

Specified Penalty means a penalty specified in Schedule “A” which may be paid in response to a Bylaw or Violation Ticket, for an alleged offence of a Section of this Bylaw;
Specified Penalty means an amount that can be paid by a person who is issued a violation ticket and is authorized to make a voluntary payment without a court appearance;
Specified Penalty means the penalty specified in an infringement notice;
Specified Penalty means a penalty specified in Schedule “A”, attached hereto and forming part of this Bylaw, for committing an offence under this Bylaw when such offence is being prosecuted by way of a municipal tag; and

Specified Penalty means an amount set out or specified in an Enactment that can be paid by an Accused who is issued a By-law Offence Notice and is permitted under this By-law, as set out on a By-law Offence Notice, to make a payment without a Court appearance;
Specified Penalty means a penalty for a contravention of this Bylaw, as set forth in Schedule "A", attached hereto and forming part of this Bylaw.
