Sponsored Merchant definition

Sponsored Merchant or “you” refers to the legal entity identified in the Sponsored Merchant Application.
Sponsored Merchant means any Person or entity to whom a Payment Facilitator agrees to provide Payment Processing services.
Sponsored Merchant or “Merchant” means the relevant merchant entity that has executed a Sponsored Merchant Agreement with Payment Facilitator as described in the relevant Tripartite Merchant Services Agreement;

Examples of Sponsored Merchant in a sentence

  • Sponsored Merchant further acknowledges that its Sponsored Merchant Application may be rejected by Acquirer and that Acquirer shall not have any liability associated with such rejection.

  • Prior to such funding, Payment Facilitator, Processor, or Bank, as applicable, may maintain funds associated with Sponsored Merchants’ transactions in a commingled account, and Sponsored Merchant shall have no right to such account, the funds therein, or interest, if any, obtained thereon.

  • Under no circumstances shall Sponsored Merchant sell Card Information or use it for any purpose other than as expressly contemplated by this Agreement.

  • Failure to subtract such amounts does not relieve Sponsored Merchant of liability or responsibility for the same, and Sponsored Merchant agrees to pay all such amounts to Acquirer immediately upon receipt of invoice and without deduction or offset.

  • Sponsored Merchant not make any such public disclosure without Payment Facilitator’s prior written consent.

  • Sponsored Merchant acknowledges that, under the Operating Rules of the Payment Networks, certain Sponsored Merchant activity and terminations of Sponsored Merchant processing agreements may result in Acquirer’s reporting merchants and their principals to the Payment Networks for inclusion on a terminated merchant file (e.g., the “MATCH” list).

  • Sponsored Merchant, on behalf of itself and its principals (and with such principals’ explicit authorization), hereby consents to such reporting and waives any claim related to the same, even in instances where Sponsored Merchant or its principals believe that reporting to have been improper or in error.

  • Sponsored Merchant shall submit such information to Payment Facilitator, along with any other information that may reasonably be requested in connection with a Transaction, in such form as Payment Facilitator may specify from time to time.

  • Notices to Payment Facilitator, Processor, and/or Bank must be sent to the addresses respectively designated on the Sponsored Merchant Application for those entities, and will be deemed effective upon receipt.

  • Sponsored Merchant understands that failure to submit such Transactions on a timely basis may (a) result in increased fees associated with the Transaction(s) (such as higher interchange fees), and Sponsored Merchant agrees to pay any such fees if assessed; and/or (b) compromise Sponsored Merchant’s ability to be paid for the Transaction(s).

Related to Sponsored Merchant

  • Merchant means a company, firm or other organisation accepting either all Cards as a means of payment for goods and/or services or at least one type of Card for business to business transactions.

  • Participating Merchant means a Merchant that offers the Online Payment Service as an online payment option on the Merchant’s website.

  • Financial Services Provider means any Lender and any other provider of financial services or products;

  • Retailer means every person engaged in the business of making sales at retail, or for distribution,

  • Wholesaler means any person, other than a vintner, brewer or bottler of beer or wine, who shall sell, barter, exchange, offer for sale, have in possession with intent to sell, deal or traffic in alcoholic liquor, wine, or beer. A wholesaler shall not sell for consumption upon the premises.

  • Wholesale Service means Telecommunication Services that Sprint provides at retail to subscribers who are not telecommunications carriers as set forth in 47 USC § 251(c)(4) which Sprint provides to resellers at a wholesale rate.

  • Affiliate Program The program we've set up for our affiliates as described in this Agreement.

  • Wireless services provider means a person who provides wireless services.

  • School-sponsored media means all student media that are:

  • Universal Digital Loop Carrier (UDLC means the DLC system that has a CO terminal channel bank that is connected to the CO switches on the analog side.

  • Managed care plan means a health benefit plan that either requires a covered person to use, or

  • Interscholastic Activities means athletic or non-athletic/academic activities where students compete on a school vs. school basis.

  • wholesale customer means a natural or legal person purchasing electricity for the purpose of resale inside or outside the system where he is established;

  • Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) indicator means a four-character suffix to the unique entity identifier. The suffix is assigned at the discretion of the commercial, nonprofit, or Government entity to establish additional System for Award Management records for identifying alternative EFT accounts (see subpart 32.11) for the same entity.

  • At-home recovery visit means the period of a visit required to provide at home recovery care, without limit on the duration of the visit, except each consecutive four (4) hours in a twenty-four-hour period of services provided by a care provider is one visit.

  • Merchant Establishment means any company, establishment, firm or person, wherever located and in whatever form (including the Internet), which is designated as a MasterCard/VISA merchant and/or with whom there is an arrangement for a Cardholder to obtain goods, services or cash advances by use of the Card or Card number and includes any establishment displaying the MASTERCARD/VISA symbol which appears on the face of the Card.

  • Financial Services Business for purposes of this Unit Agreement shall mean the business of banking, including deposit, credit, trust and investment services, mortgage banking, asset management, and brokerage and investment banking services. (C) The term "Managerial Responsibilities" for purposes of this Unit Agreement shall mean managerial and supervisory responsibilities and duties that are substantially the same as that Grantee is performing for SunTrust or a SunTrust Affiliate on the date of this Unit Agreement. (D) The term "SunTrust Affiliate" for purposes of this Unit Agreement shall mean any corporation which is a subsidiary corporation (within the meaning of §424(f) of the Code) of SunTrust except a corporation which has subsidiary corporation status under §424(f) of the Code exclusively as a result of SunTrust or a SunTrust Affiliate holding stock in such corporation as a fiduciary with respect to any trust, estate, conservatorship, guardianship or agency. (E) The term "Territory" for purposes of this Unit Agreement shall mean the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and the District of Columbia, which are the states and Territories in which SunTrust has significant operations on the date of this Unit Agreement. (F) "Trade Secret" for purposes of Unit Agreement shall mean information, including, but not limited to, technical or nontechnical data, a formula, a pattern, a compilation, a program, a device, a method, a technique, a drawing, a process, financial data, financial plans, product plans, or a list of actual or potential customers or suppliers that: (i) derives economic value, actual or potential, from not being generally known to, and not being readily ascertainable by proper means by, other persons who can obtain economic value from it is disclosure or use, and (ii) is the subject of reasonable efforts by SunTrust or a SunTrust Affiliate to maintain its secrecy.

  • Permitted Special Servicer/Affiliate Fees Any commercially reasonable treasury management fees, banking fees, title insurance and/or other insurance commissions and fees, title agency fees, and appraisal review fees received or retained by the Special Servicer or any of its Affiliates in connection with any services performed by such party with respect to any Serviced Loan or REO Property, in each case, in accordance with Article III of this Agreement.

  • POS means point of sale.

  • Qualified medical provider means the same as that term is defined in Section 26-61a-102.
