Sponsored Merchant definition

Sponsored Merchant or “you” refers to the legal entity identified in the Sponsored Merchant Application.
Sponsored Merchant means any Person or entity to whom a Payment Facilitator agrees to provide Payment Processing services.
Sponsored Merchant or “Merchant” means the relevant merchant entity that has executed a Sponsored Merchant Agreement with Payment Facilitator as described in the relevant Tripartite Merchant Services Agreement;

Examples of Sponsored Merchant in a sentence

  • You must not deposit transactions resulting from any transaction involving a Card between a Cardholder and another entity (with the exception of Payment Service Providers (PSPs), who may deposit transactions resulting from a transaction between a Cardholder and a Sponsored Merchant of the PSP).

  • This report has been prepared using generally accepted actuarial methods and assumptions.

  • Further, from time to time, Payment Facilitator may provide Sponsored Merchant with materials that include Payment Facilitator’s name, logo, trademarks, and/or service marks.

  • Sponsored Merchant authorizes Acquirer to initiate debit and credit entries to the Settlement Account, including through the ACH settlement process or via wire transfer, and agrees that Acquirer may debit the Settlement Account for any amounts owed hereunder to Acquirer to which Acquirer may otherwise be entitled for any reason.

  • The security interest(s) granted under this Agreement will continue after termination of this Agreement until Sponsored Merchant satisfies all its obligations to Acquirer.

  • Sponsored Merchant acknowledges that all such logos, marks, advertising and promotional materials used by any Payment Network are the sole and exclusive property of such Payment Network, which ownership Sponsored Merchant agrees not to challenge, and that such Payment Network may prohibit Sponsored Merchant’s use thereof at any time and for any reason, with or without notice.

  • Furthermore, if Sponsored Merchant is undergoing a forensic investigation at the time it signs the Sponsored Merchant Application, it must fully cooperate with the investigation until completed.

  • In addition, Sponsored Merchant may opt out of accepting Cards (including Cards issued by American Express) at any time without directly or indirectly affecting its rights to accept other payments products.

Related to Sponsored Merchant

  • Merchant means any corporate entity, person or other establishment, supplying goods and/or services, which a Card Scheme Member Bank has approved and made arrangements to accept the Card or the Card numbers as a mode of payment or reservation by the Cardholder.

  • Participating Merchant means a Merchant that offers the Online Payment Service as an online payment option on the Merchant’s website.

  • Financial Services Provider means any Lender and any other provider of financial services or products;

  • Retailer means every person engaged in the business of making sales at retail, or for distribution,

  • Managed Care Program means the process that determines Medical Necessity and directs care to the most appropriate setting to provide quality care in a cost-effective manner, including Prior Authorization of certain services.

  • Transient merchant means any person who engages in a temporary or itinerant merchandising business and in the course of such business hires, leases or occupies any building or structure whatsoever, or who operates out of a vehicle which is parked anywhere within the City limits. Temporary association with a local merchant, dealer, trader or auctioneer, or conduct of such transient business in connection with, as a part of, or in the name of any local merchant, dealer, trader or auctioneer does not exempt any person from being considered a transient merchant.

  • Wholesaler means any person, other than a vintner, brewer or bottler of beer or wine, who shall sell, barter, exchange, offer for sale, have in possession with intent to sell, deal or traffic in alcoholic liquor, wine, or beer. A wholesaler shall not sell for consumption upon the premises.

  • Participating Hospice Care Program Provider means a Hospice Care Program Provider that either: (i) has a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield to provide services to participants in this benefits program, or; (ii) a Hospice Care Program Provider which has been designated by a Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan as a Participating Provider Option program.

  • Wholesale Service means Telecommunication Services that Sprint provides at retail to subscribers who are not telecommunications carriers as set forth in 47 USC § 251(c)(4) which Sprint provides to resellers at a wholesale rate.

  • Hosted Services means the hosting, management and operation of the computing hardware, ancillary equipment, Software, firmware, data, other services (including support services), and related resources for remote electronic access and use by the State and its Authorized Users, including any services and facilities related to disaster recovery obligations.

  • Affiliate Program The program we've set up for our affiliates as described in this Agreement.

  • Wireless services provider means a person who provides wireless services.

  • Managed care plan means a health benefit plan that either requires a covered person to use, or

  • Interscholastic Activities means athletic or non-athletic/academic activities where students compete on a school vs. school basis.

  • wholesale customer means a natural or legal person purchasing electricity for the purpose of resale inside or outside the system where he is established;

  • Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) indicator means a four-character suffix to the unique entity identifier. The suffix is assigned at the discretion of the commercial, nonprofit, or Government entity to establish additional System for Award Management records for identifying alternative EFT accounts (see subpart 32.11) for the same entity.

  • financial service provider means a person engaged in the business of providing financial services in terms of authorisation issued or registration granted by a financial sector regulator;

  • At-home recovery visit means the period of a visit required to provide at home recovery care, without limit on the duration of the visit, except each consecutive four (4) hours in a twenty-four-hour period of services provided by a care provider is one visit.

  • Financial Services Business for purposes of this Unit Agreement shall mean the business of banking, including deposit, credit, trust and investment services, mortgage banking, asset management, and brokerage and investment banking services.

  • Permitted Special Servicer/Affiliate Fees Any commercially reasonable treasury management fees, banking fees, title insurance and/or other insurance commissions and fees, title agency fees, and appraisal review fees received or retained by the Special Servicer or any of its Affiliates in connection with any services performed by such party with respect to any Serviced Loan or REO Property, in each case, in accordance with Article III of this Agreement.
