State Arresting Agency definition

State Arresting Agency means one of the state agencies that is party to this Agreement and who has arrested an individual and placed said individual in the county detention center or who has authorized another law enforcement agency to arrest the individual.

  • The State Arresting Agency does not discriminate on the basis of disability in admission to, access to, or operations of its programs, services, or activities.

  • On a monthly basis, County shall furnish each State Arresting Agency with an itemized statement specifying the name, date of birth, and dates of confinement of each inmate whose confinement expenses are the responsibility of the State Arresting Agency.

  • No contractual relationships exist between any subcontractor and State Arresting Agency under this Agreement.

  • Any insurance or self-insurance maintained by State Arresting Agency, its officers, officials, employees, or volunteers shall be excess of County’s insurance and shall not contribute with it.

  • County’s insurance coverage shall be primary insurance with respect to State Arresting Agency, its officers, officials, employees, and volunteers and shall apply separately to each project or location.

  • The coverage must (a) meet the minimum essential coverage, minimum value and affordability requirements of the employer’s responsibility provisions under Section 4980H of the Code (ACA) and (b) otherwise satisfy the requirements of the Code §4980H (ACA) if provided by the State Arresting Agency.

  • At the request of State Arresting Agency either: (1) the insurer shall reduce or eliminate such deductibles or self-insured retentions as respects State Arresting Agency, is officers, officials, employees, or volunteers; or (2) at the expense of County, County shall procure a bond guaranteeing payment of losses and related investigations, claims administration, and defense expenses.

  • State Arresting Agency will not reimburse expenses exceeding these rates.

  • Under the terms of this Agreement, State Arresting Agencies will pay medical costs of inmates confined in the county detention center who are the responsibility of the State Arresting Agency.

  • County agrees to notify the State Arresting Agency of said hospitalizations within 24-hours of occurrence.

Related to State Arresting Agency

  • The Procuring Agency means the organization purchasing the Goods, as named in SCC.

  • State Contracting Agency means the department for which this contract is to be performed and for which the Commissioner or Authorized Designee acted in signing this contract.

  • State agency means any of the principal departments in the Executive Branch of the State Government, and any division, board, bureau, office, commission or other instrumentality within or created by such department, the Legislature of the State and any office, board, bureau or commission within or created by the Legislative Branch, and any independent State authority, commission, instrumentality or agency.

  • Procuring Agency means all State of New Mexico agencies, commissions, institutions, political subdivisions and local public bodies allowed by law to entertain procurements.

  • Health Agency means the California Department of Health Services, or the local health officer with respect to a small water system.

  • State education agency means the department.

  • Cooperating agency means any Federal agency other than a lead agency which has jurisdiction by law or special expertise with respect to any environmental impact involved in a proposal (or a reasonable alternative) for legislation or other major Federal action significantly affecting the quality of the human environment. The selection and responsibilities of a cooperating agency are described in Sec. 1501.6. A State or local agency of similar qualifications or, when the effects are on a reservation, an Indian Tribe, may by agreement with the lead agency become a cooperating agency.

  • Accrediting agency means: an accreditor recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and whose scope of recognition, as specified by the U.S. Department of Education, includes Distance Education.

  • State aid means State municipal aid and State school aid;

  • Host agency means a public agency, private nonprofit organization, or private sector employer, other than a political party, exempt from taxation under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, which provides a training site and supervision for a participant.

  • the Agency means the Environment Agency;

  • Home health agency means a public or private organization, or a subdivision of such an agency or organization, which meets all of the following requirements:

  • System Agency means HHSC or any of the agencies of the State of Texas that are overseen by HHSC under authority granted under state law and the officers, employees, authorized representatives, and designees of those agencies. These agencies include: HHSC and the Department of State Health Services.

  • State agencies means all departments,

  • Environmental Protection Agency or "EPA" means the United States Environmental Protection Agency.

  • Requesting agency means the agency of state government that has requested a specific budget amendment.

  • Municipal entity means an entity as defined in the Systems Act.
