State Gross Receipts Tax Increment Revenue definition

State Gross Receipts Tax Increment Revenue means 50% of the State Gross Receipts Tax revenue, which State Gross Receipts Tax is currently imposed at the rate of 5.125% of the taxable gross receipts in the XXXX.
State Gross Receipts Tax Increment Revenue means 50% of the portion of State gross receipts taxes collected within the District in excess of the base State gross receipts taxes (as referred to in Xxxxxxx 0-00-0(X) XXXX 1978) currently imposed pursuant to the Gross Receipts and Compensating Tax Act, Section 7-9-1 XXXX 0000, but excluding that portion distributed to municipalities pursuant to Sections 7-1-6.4 and 7-1-6.46 XXXX 0000 or to counties pursuant to Section 7-1-6.47 XXXX 0000, and as collected for the duration of the existence of the District and distributed to the District in the same manner as distributions are made under the provisions of the State Tax Administration Act; provided that such percentage of the State gross receipts taxes collected within the District may be reduced by the State pursuant to Section 6 of the State Dedication Resolution.

An industry which closes or substantially reduces its operation in one area of the state of Iowa and relocates substantially the same operation in another area of the state is not eligible for a project. This definition does not prohibit a business from expanding its operations in another area of the state provided that existing operations of a similar nature are not

  • Sales Tax Revenues means taxes collected under the Virginia Retail Sales and Use Tax Act

  • Gross Rooms Revenue means all revenues derived from the sale or rental of Guest Rooms (both transient and permanent) of the Hotel, including revenue derived from the redemption of points or rewards under the loyalty programs in which the Hotel participates, amounts attributable to breakfast (where the guest room rate includes breakfast), Mandatory Guest Fees, late cancellation fees, and guaranteed no- show revenue and credit transactions, whether or not collected, at the actual rates charged, less allowances for any Guest Room rebates and overcharges, and will not include taxes collected directly from patrons or guests.   • Tax increment financing acts means 1975 PA 197, MCL 125.1651 to 125.1681, the tax increment finance authority act, 1980 PA 450, MCL 125.1801 to 125.1830, the local development financing act, 1986 PA 281, MCL 125.2151 to 125.2174, the brownfield redevelopment financing act, 1996 PA 381, MCL 125.2651 to 125.2672, or the corridor improvement authority act, 2005 PA 280, MCL 125.2871 to 125.2899.

  • Estimated Incremental Quarterly Tax Amount has the meaning assigned to such term in Section 6.9.
