State School Aid Payment definition

State School Aid Payment means any payment of money the Academy receives from the state school aid fund established pursuant to Article IX, Section 11 of the Michigan Constitution of 1963 or under the State School Aid Act of 1979, as amended.

  • Each State School Aid Payment for the Academy will be made to the Fiscal Agent by the State Treasurer by issuing a warrant and delivering the warrant to the Fiscal Agent by electronic funds transfer into an account specified by the Fiscal Agent, or by such other means deemed acceptable to the Fiscal Agent.

  • This fee shall be retained by the College Board from each State School Aid Payment received by the College Board for forwarding to the Academy.

  • No public official or employee of the applicant agency, who performs any duties under the project may participate in an administrative decision with respect to the project if such a decision can be expected to result in any benefit or remuneration to him/her or his/her immediate family.

  • The State School Aid Payment and Direction document shall include language that the third party lender or trustee acknowledges and consents to the transfer of State School Aid Payments into the Academy's dissolution account, as set forth in Article X of the Terms and Conditions.

  • State school aid fund means the state school aid fund established in section 11 of article IX of the state constitution of 1963.

  • School bus means every motor vehicle owned by a public or governmental agency or private school and operated for the transportation of pupils, children of pupils, teachers and other persons acting in a supervisory capacity, to or from school or school activities, or, privately owned and operated for compensation for the transportation of pupils, children of pupils, teachers and other persons acting in a supervisory capacity to or from school or school activities (Education Law §11[1] and Vehicle and Traffic Law §142).

  • Boarding house means a residence in which lodging and meals are provided. Each resident of a boarding house is charged a lump sum to cover the costs of lodging and meals with no separate accounting for the fair selling price of the meals.

  • Secondary school means a nonprofit institutional day or residential school including a public secondary charter school that provides secondary education for grades 9-12.

  • State health plan means the employee and retiree insurance program provided for in Article 5, Chapter 11, Title 1.

  • School nurse means a registered professional nurse with Maine Department of Education certification for school nursing.

  • Applicable School Finance Law means Chapters 48 and 49 of the TEXAS EDUCATION CODE, and other applicable provisions of the TEXAS EDUCATION CODE, the Texas Economic Development Act (Chapter 313 of the TEXAS TAX CODE); Chapter 403, Subchapter M, of the TEXAS GOVERNMENT CODE applicable to the District; and, the Constitution and general laws of the State applicable to the school districts of the State, including specifically, the applicable rules, regulations, and interpretations of the agencies of the State having jurisdiction over any matters relating to the public school systems and school districts of the State, and judicial decisions construing or interpreting any of the above. The term also includes any amendments or successor statutes that may be adopted in the future which impact or alter the calculation of the Applicant’s ad valorem tax obligation or the M&O Amount in Section 4.2 of this Agreement to the District, either with or without the limitation of property values made pursuant to this Agreement.

  • Universal Digital Loop Carrier (UDLC means the DLC system that has a CO terminal channel bank that is connected to the CO switches on the analog side.

  • South Caucasus/Central and South Asian (SC/CASA) state means Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, or Uzbekistan.

  • Weapon-free school zone means school property and a vehicle used by a school to transport students to or from school property.

  • Health carrier or "carrier" means a disability insurer

  • Certified Domestic Violence Specialist means a person who has fulfilled the requirements of certification as a Domestic Violence Specialist established by the New Jersey Association of Domestic Violence Professionals.

  • Lodging House means a building designed or intended to contain, or containing Lodging Units where the residents share access to common areas of the building, other than the Lodging Units;

  • Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS) means telephone service for the transmission of human speech.

  • CMR means the Convention on the Contract for the International Carriage of Goods by Road (Geneva, 19 May 1956), as amended;

  • State Systems means the information technology infrastructure, including the computers, software, databases, electronic systems (including database management systems) and networks, of the State or any of its designees.
