Stormwater Fee definition

Stormwater Fee means the periodic fee imposed pursuant to this Ordinance for the purpose of funding costs related to stormwater programs, services, systems, and facilities.
Stormwater Fee means the amount charged under this Bylaw based upon the rate and class of the Property;
Stormwater Fee means the sums assessed, imposed, and to be collected from each Developed Property which receives Stormwater Service from CRW’s Sewer System, as defined in these Rules and Regulations.

  • Stormwater runoff means water flow on the surface of the ground or in storm sewers, resulting from precipitation.

  • Stormwater management planning agency means a public body authorized by legislation to prepare stormwater management plans.

  • Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan or "SWPPP" means a document that is prepared in accordance with good engineering practices and that identifies potential sources of pollutants that may reasonably be expected to affect the quality of stormwater discharges from the construction site, and otherwise meets the requirements of this Ordinance. In addition the document shall identify and require the implementation of control measures, and shall include, but not be limited to the inclusion of, or the incorporation by reference of, an approved erosion and sediment control plan, an approved stormwater management plan, and a pollution prevention plan.

  • Storm water means storm water runoff, snow melt runoff, and surface runoff and drainage.

  • Storm water or wastewater collection system means piping, pumps, conduits, and any other equipment necessary to collect and transport the flow of surface water run-off resulting from precipitation, or domestic, commercial, or industrial wastewater to and from retention areas or any areas where treatment is designated to occur. The collection of storm water and wastewater does not include treatment except where incidental to conveyance.

  • Water Main means (subject to Section 219(2) of the 1991 Act) any pipe, not being a pipe for the time being vested in a person other than the water undertaker, which is used or to be used by a water undertaker or licensed water supplier for the purpose of making a general supply of water available to customers or potential customers of the undertaker or supplier, as distinct from for the purpose of providing a supply to particular customers;

  • Storm water management plan means a comprehensive plan designed to reduce the discharge of pollutants from storm water after the site has under gone final stabilization following completion of the construction activity.

  • Sewage means a combination of the water-carried wastes from residences, business buildings, institutions, and industrial establishments, together with such ground, surface, and storm waters as may be present.

  • Water Year means the period commencing with October 1 of 1 year 20 and extending through September 30 of the next; and

  • Wastewater means the spent water of a community. From the standpoint of source, it may be a combination of the liquid and water-carried wastes from residences, commercial buildings, industrial plants, and institutions, together with any groundwater, surface water, and storm water that may be present.

  • Virginia Stormwater Management Act means Article 2.3 (§ 62.1-44.15:24 et seq.) of Chapter 3.1 of Title 62.1 of the Code of Virginia.

  • Sewage sludge fee weight means the weight of sewage sludge, in dry U.S. tons, excluding admixtures such as liming materials or bulking agents. Annual sewage sludge fees, as per section 3745.11(Y) of the Ohio Revised Code, are based on the reported sludge fee weight for the most recent calendar year.

  • Water conservation means the preservation and careful management of water resources.
