Substitution Price definition

Substitution Price. With respect to all Reacquired Mortgage Loans for which Substitute Mortgage Loans are substituted on a specific date pursuant to Section 2.08, an amount equal to the sum of (i) the excess, if any, of the aggregate Principal Balance of the Reacquired Mortgage Loans over the aggregate Principal Balance of the Substitute Mortgage Loans, in each case, as of the date of substitution, (ii) one month’s interest on the excess amount described in clause (i) above at the weighted average Pass-Through Rate for the Reacquired Mortgage Loans, (iii) all unreimbursed Monthly P&I Advances and advances of reimburseable expenses made by the Servicer with respect to such Mortgage Loans hereunder and (iv) all interest due but unpaid with respect to such Mortgage Loans not covered by a Monthly P&I Advance.

  • Substitution Amount The amount, if any, by which the Scheduled Principal Balance of a Deleted Mortgage Loan exceeds the Scheduled Principal Balance of the related Qualifying Substitute Mortgage Loan, or aggregate Scheduled Principal Balance, if applicable, plus unpaid interest thereon, any related unpaid Advances or Servicing Advances or unpaid Servicing Fees and the amount of any costs and damages incurred by the Trust Fund associated with a violation of any applicable federal, state or local predatory or abusive lending law in connection with the origination of such Deleted Mortgage Loan.
