Swap Transactions definition

Swap Transactions means any and all such transactions of any kind, and the related confirmations, that are subject to the terms and conditions of, or governed by, any Hedge Agreement.

Swap Transactions means any interest rate swap transaction, forward rate transaction, treasury lock transaction, interest rate cap, floor or collar transaction, any similar transaction, any option to enter into any of the foregoing, or any combination of any of the foregoing.

Swap Transactions has the meaning given to such term in the Transfer and Servicing Agreement.

Examples of Swap Transactions in a sentence

• The Issuer’s only funds to make payments in respect of a Class of ETP Securities are the amounts received by it from the relevant Swap Provider(s) under the Swap Transactions entered into by the Issuer in relation to that Class.

• The Issuer's payment obligations in respect of the ETP Securities of a Class will be funded entirely from payments received by the Issuer from the Swap Provider(s) in respect of such Swap Transaction(s).

• Description of the flow of fundsThe proceeds of the issuance of a tranche of ETP Securities of a Class will be paid by the Issuer to one or more of the Swap Providers with whom the Issuer has entered into a Swap Transaction in connection with that Class, in order to increase the aggregate number of Index Units in respect of the Swap Transaction(s) entered into by the Issuer in relation to that Class in proportion to the increase in the number of ETP Securities of that Class then outstanding.

• Noteholders should be aware that as the Credit Support Balance of the Issuer will be shared out amongst the Swap Transactions (if any) under which the Issuer is exposed to the Swap Counterparty, where there are Swap Transactions that are of positive value to the Swap Counterparty, the Issuer will be less collateralised than would otherwise be the case, and will be exposed to the Swap Counterparty for the remaining amount.
