Tangible Primary Capital definition

Tangible Primary Capital has the meaning ascribed to such term in Section 7.3.
Tangible Primary Capital means total common stockholders’ equity, plus Loan Loss Reserves minus intangible assets.
Tangible Primary Capital means, on a consolidated basis, the total amount of (i) the capital stock, plus (ii) the surplus, plus (iii) the undivided profits, plus (iv) the Allowance for Loan Losses (as defined in Section 7.4), plus (v) capital qualified notes and debentures (to the extent such instruments qualify as capital in accordance with the rules, regulations and applicable guidance of the applicable primary federal regulator) minus (vi) all intangibles.

Examples of Tangible Primary Capital in a sentence

  • The Borrower will not permit the ratio of Non-Performing Assets to Tangible Primary Capital of any of the Subsidiary Bank(s) (expressed as a percentage) to be greater than 20% as of the last day of any fiscal quarter.

  • The Borrower will not permit the ratio of Non-Performing Assets of any Subsidiary Bank plus OREO owned by any Subsidiary of the Borrower formed to purchase OREO from such Subsidiary Bank to Tangible Primary Capital of any Subsidiary Bank (expressed as a percentage), as of the last day of each fiscal quarter ending on or after September 30, 2017, to be greater than 18.00%.

More Definitions of Tangible Primary Capital

Tangible Primary Capital means, with respect to any Person, (a) equity plus (b) Loan Loss Reserves minus (c) intangible assets (as set forth on Schedule RC of the call report for such Person). For the avoidance of doubt, mortgage servicing rights shall be considered intangible assets and shall not be included as part of Tangible Primary Capital.
