Taxi Stand means any road, length of road or side of road appointed as a stand for taxis by Shepway District Council in local legislation made under the Section 63 of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976 which complies with the road marking prescribed in Diagram 1028.2 of the Traffic Regulations and General Directions 2002
