Terminal Sick Leave definition

Terminal Sick Leave means sick leave granted to a Firefighter who leaves the service of the Employer on account of illness or incapacity prior to the age of sixty (60).
Terminal Sick Leave. One-half the unused sick leave (maximum 30 days) shall be granted on termination if employee has completed five years of service, or the beneficiary upon death while employed, or 100% of the unused sick leave (maximum 60 days) shall be granted on termination if employee has completed ten years of service, or to beneficiary upon death while employed." One day is equivalent to eight (8) hours of sick leave. ARTICLE X: HOLIDAYS‌

  • Mental Sickness means any emotional, behavioral, psychological, personality, adjustment, mood or stress- related abnormality, disorder, disturbance, dysfunction or syndrome; regardless of its cause. It includes, but is not limited to:
