Pavement definition

Pavement means any type of improved surface that is within the public right-of-way and that is paved or otherwise constructed with bituminous, concrete, aggregate, or gravel.
Pavement means and includes Portland cement concrete pavement, asphalt concrete pavement, asphalt treated road surfaces and any aggregate base material.
Pavement. - means the entire envelope of selected materials placed on the subgrade and designed to carry vehicular traffic. Pavements may include any combination of asphalt cement concrete, Portland cement concrete, and granular base courses or wearing courses.
