Inspecting Agency means the agencies nominated and authorized by the competent authority for inspecting the material at the works of the supplier or at the designated place of inspection prescribed by the purchasing authority.
The Inspecting Officer means the person specified in the contract for the purpose of Inspection of stores or work under the contract and includes his authorised representative;
Lead inspection means a surface-by-surface investigation to determine the presence of lead-based
Home inspection means the on-site, physical review of the home of an applicant to assure the applicant and the home meets all health and safety requirements within these rules.
Final Inspection means the process and procedure described in UGC Section 12.
The Inspector means any person or agency nominated by or on behalf of the Purchaser to inspect Stores under the Contract.
Contracting agency means the principal departments in the Executive Branch of the State Government, and any division, board, bureau, office, commission or other instrumentality within or created by such department, or any independent State authority, commission, instrumentality or agency, or any State college or university, any county college, or any local unit; with respect to this Contract, the contracting agency shall mean the Division;
Inspecting Authority means the authorised representative of the Department to act as Inspecting Authority for the purpose of this contract and for the purpose of ascertaining the progress of the deliveries under the contract.
External inspection means an inspection made when a boiler is in operation.
Certificate of inspection means an unsworn statement,
Initial inspection means the first on-site inspection of facilities to verify declarations submitted pursuant to Articles III, IV, V and VI and this Annex.
Certified inspector means an employee or agent of a VESCP authority who (i) holds a certificate of competence from the Board in the area of project inspection or (ii) is enrolled in the Board's training program for project inspection and successfully completes such program within one year after enrollment.
Nodal Agency means the Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited, (MPUVNL) Bhopal;
Training provider means an organization meeting the eligibility conditions as mentioned in Data Sheet and selected in accordance with the criteria set forth for the purpose.
Inspect means the ability to review and copy a CIF to the same extent as any other document contained in a court file.
Authorized inspector means inspectors employed by the authorities responsible for boarding and inspection included in the Commission register and authorized to conduct boarding and inspection activities pursuant to these procedures;
Inspections has the meaning set forth in Section 4.1.2.
State Contracting Agency means the department for which this contract is to be performed and for which the Commissioner or Authorized Designee acted in signing this contract.
Contracting agent means the governing body of a
Procurement Representative means the person authorized by ULA’s cognizant procurement organization to administer and/or execute this Contract.
Inspection means activities such as measuring, examining, testing, gauging one or more characteristics of the product or service and comparing the same with the specified requirement to determine conformity.
Inspection Certificate means a report prepared by an independent authority or third party assessor who is qualified by experience and/or education to declare the Produce unfit for human consumption, unsuitable for sale or not meeting a particular specification or standard.
Inspection Report means the report delivered by the Master Servicer or the Special Servicer, as the case may be, substantially in the form of Exhibit L hereto.
Custodial agency means an agency of the government designated to act on behalf of the government owner of the disposal site.
Cooperating agency means any Federal agency other than a lead agency which has jurisdiction by law or special expertise with respect to any environmental impact involved in a proposal (or a reasonable alternative) for legislation or other major Federal action significantly affecting the quality of the human environment. The selection and responsibilities of a cooperating agency are described in Sec. 1501.6. A State or local agency of similar qualifications or, when the effects are on a reservation, an Indian Tribe, may by agreement with the lead agency become a cooperating agency.
Receiving Agency means HHSC or DSHS, as applicable, Agency receiving the benefit of the goods or services provided under this Contract.
